Found another Jewel in the wharf! Aussie owned(as expected), great coffee, and love the speedy delivery. A good coffee, without going into taste, crema, acidity etc, since they are all just too subjective, relies on just a few simple things: — the beans — fresh — the roast — sufficient — the grounds — right fresh & right grind — the water — temp and quality TSB does all of these brilliantly! The coffee is just right and its just nice to be able to get a proper one when you need that starter or needed that mental boost! A place you can indulge a bit in. That said, it is a small shop, so don’t expect to be extremely comfortable sitting in. But hey, it’s good coffee!

I am an Australian and finding a really great coffee in London is difficult to say the least. The piccolo I had here was absolutely perfect, and would hold its own in Brisbane or Melbourne. So nice to find.

I appreciate when the baristas are knowledgeable and share their enthusiasm for all variations, origins, and preparations of coffee. The barista who provided an outstanding beverage was able to cite the bean origin, grind, and flavor profile. Also, he was willing to customize my KeepCup and patient while I selected the individual components, lid, cup, cover. In addition, he needed to obtain a ladder to reach the upper most cup. Thank you for the wonderful cappuccino, education, and service!

Good coffee! Bonus points because when I said my usual«cappuccino without chocolate», the barista responded, «oh we don’t usually put the chocolate on top!»

Simples: best coffee in Canary Wharf. Best coffee in London(and Brighton) if you ask me. Efficient, friendly, tasty. There’s really nothing more to ask for. I get the beans and grind them at home, too.

Coffee is second to none in Canary Wharf. A touch on the expensive side and the baristas are entertaining… sometimes a bit irritating with«in» jokes. Hey, for the usually corporate and stuffy CW crowd, this is light relief. Can get busy at the usual coffee times — 10am, 3pm are normally quite backed up.

3 Stars? But why?! Well, it loses a star for being expensive even for the area, and another star for having such a ridiculously long queue it’s practically impossible to ever get a coffee. But if only the best coffee will do though, wait your turn like everyone else, and enjoy :)

Coffee really very good. espresso not over-extracted. Employees were pretty horrid — a few seemed quite stoned(Friday late afternoon), and many were hipper-than-thou.

Best coffee in London, delicious food, friendly service. Wouldn’t give it 5 stars, as waits are long and premise is cramped — but the coffee is so good, I felt compelled to. :)

While the clientele of this location is mostly corporate asshats and dickbags, one of my favourite baristas was working when I stopped by for a piccolo and we had a nice chat, so I can forgive the atmosphere. The environment at the South Quay Taylor Street premises is so much better, though. It’s a shame, as my office is moving to West India Quay and this will be my new shop. The coffee is lovely regardless of location, as ever.

Working for a bank you would figure they would provide good coffee on premises. Unfortunately, this is not the case. However, Taylor St Baristas to the rescue! While working out of the Canary Wharf office must have had at least 3 or 4 long blacks and 1 drip coffee. Dont remember which roasts I had but they were definitely single origin and quite delicious. This is not Starbucks rubbish.

Yay! Finally good coffee comes to the Wharf. In addition to the excellent coffee, the staff are friendly and the cakes are good(the Lammingtons are particularly recomended). On the downside, there is only limited seating options so it is not really a place to linger. However, this doesn’t detract from the experience overall. Following my original review, I have now sampled the sandwich options at lunch and the bircher muesli at breakfast time. Both are excellent, in particular the bircher which comes in a pot which is easy to take away and is delicious, especially the scattering of blueberries on top! Consequently my original recommendedation stands unaltered!

TSB, thank you for coming to Canary Wharf! My ‘white collar’ hubby and fellow coffee snob is sooooo grateful for your presence in the Isle of Dogs. This location, unlike the quite small Shoreditch store, is rather narrow and deep with certainly more places to sit. Flat white price: 2.40. My ride on the DLR to Canary Wharf: 1.90. Heck, I could(almost even) walk there! Mini-addition: the suits in Canary Wharf aren’t yet hip to TSB in their midst. A Taylor St. locale with NOLINE at LUNCHTIME? I say we all run down there in droves to get a great bevvie without a long(er) wait! Well, run on down there Monday through Friday only as TSB isn’t open on weekends.
