Lovely wine bar located under the trees of St Paul’s Cathedral Garden. They have ample space to sit inside and outside. The patrons are mostly city workers stopping for a drink on the way home. That gives it a very social atmosphere.

I came here on a weeknight, and its quite hard to figure out what this venue is aiming for. We went for drinks, but there were a row of booths, and extra tables where food can be served. We visited on a Wednesday night and there were a live bank, who were toe-tappingly good, although didn’t quite go with the feel of the bar. There was also a mini dance floor with just enough space to shake my booty. Drinks were usual prices for a city bar i guess. We were also told that they didn’t serve shots(I know on a school night probably wasn’t a good idea) as the owner thought it lowered the tone. Anyway, they still served us shots so we managed to single handedly lower the tone, the other people who were a little inebriated were obviously watering their spirits with mixers. Ok venue, staff seemed quite attentive, and in stumbling distance to St Pauls tube station.
