The worst pub in SW19 surly doormen arrogant bar staff filthy toilets avoid at all costs.

Still the best happy hour in Wimbledon! But going on a Friday night now was a slightly different experience as they have added a few extra lightings and which brightened up the place but the music is pretty loud for 7pm as you can’t have a conversation with a group of friends but you can talk to people on a one on one if you get pretty close to them!
The bar isn’t as busy as it used to which is a plus as now there isn’t such a long wait to order drinks and two you are guaranteed a space on the dance floor! But be warned get there early or book in advance if you want a table!
So it all seems positive so why didn’t I give this a five star review I hear you cry? Well due to not working in Wimbledon I don’t go her as regularly as I used to but since I socialise with others that do it was a good idea to get their opinion and I thought hey you as the reader gets a wider opinion! So they had committed on the hygiene of this bar and yes as with some bars you do get carpet that sticks to your shoes, uncleared plates that will stay on tables for some time, and half of the toilets being out of order or impossible to lock! There were more comments but to be honest I thought the ones I discovered tonight were the best to put down!
But you know what we still go here, to start off our night and depending on how long happy hours drinks are flowing, we normally end up staying till closing!

The worst door staff in Wimbledon. If you are gay, forget it. They will not let you in. Stay clear.

I go here regularly and tend to enjoy it. decent bar for early 20s to go on a fri night with cheap drinks and friendly staff, Closes quite early but is always a plus if you have work on a saturday. If not it is in a good enough location to go on from. Overall a Good strart to a night if you are under 22

If you are over 25 do not go here. Weatherspoon feeling and lots of young wannabes. Music is alright the drinks are cheap the staff is really lovely and friendly. The only problem is with the crowd.

This is a typical chain pub where you find can find cheap drinks and music to dance along to on any given night. The staff are quick to serve and seem to be on the ball as to the order that people arrive to the bar which is always good. The drink offers that are on are normally pretty good and the music is normally decent enough too. It even has a dance floor, albeit it not a massive one, but as chain pubs go its pretty good. Be warned that the bouncers can get strict over the dress code on weekends so guys don’t be turning up in trainers.
