Beautiful quirky little shop. Found the owner and assistant to be extremely pleasant and helpful. Also eccentric, but nothing wrong with that! Pray, let them pick your wardrobe for you, it is great fun. Not only did the owner pick outfits for me that I myself would never have chosen in the first place, they suited me beautifully. In short, ask for help and let them play with your look. A few items needed just a little bit of adjustment but the alteration was offered along with a glass of water and a cup of coffee. Bonus! I did not spend that much and ended up with three beautiful dresses, a jacket and a coat.

I only went in once, but both the clothes and the service were a disappointment. Window-shopping, I spied a drop dead gorgeous slinky stretch satin cocktail dress. But our romance died on the sidewalk. In the dressing room, I found a stack of boxes the shop-keeper refused to move(despite an empty kitchen), large children’s toys taking up the floor space, and most importantly, a dress with sub-par tailoring. The hems: messy. The fit: sloppy. It turns out the mannequin was pinned to within an inch of her life. The shopkeeper said they have a tailor who can customize all garments. The dress was in such shambles, I didn’t want to risk it. He suggested another cut, and the skill level of the stitching was similar. For a premium price, I expect top-quality. What sticks with me the most was the shopkeeper’s unpleasant attitude. Better to pop up a few minutes up the King’s Road to a boutique that gets it right.
