Now called THE JUNCTION.
Very nice new décor, friendly staff and the menu looked great!
Nice to have a decent pub in Upminster since the downfall of The Crumpled Horn!

The Yeoman is right by the station, which I guess brings in a lot of people (it’s right there on your way home if you work in London). It’s a very sportsy pub, if you get what I mean, so not somewhere I like that much, but it’s an OK spot if you’re just grabbing a quick pint with a mate or too. Quite small and pretty hot inside so not that pleasant on a Friday/Saturday night.

I have been drinking in the Essex Yeoman for just over a year now. Although, primarily a mans pub, I have never felt excluded or intimidated by this.
There always seems to be a great atmosphere and a lot of comradory between the the drinkers in the pub and the bar staff — particularly since the new landlady took over over.
My favourite pub in the Essex area!

Used to frequent this pub regularly. Very good prices and open later than other pubs in the area. Much nicer and cleaner inside now after refurb, with pool, jukebox, sky sports, etc. On the down side though, this has an extremely local feel, especially mid week, and has an overly ‘masculine’ atmosphere, which can at times can be a bit intimidating.
If your a bloke who wants to watch football, have a good pint and a quick night out with the lads, then you could do much worse than this.
