I love this place and have to come whenever I’m in the area. Everything they do is so tasty and insanely cheap. Lahmacun for £1.30 and 3 garlic naan a for £1. It’s crazy. There’s no need to go to the supermarket if your cooking yourself a curry later on. Just make sure you ask for them to do it fresh as sometimes they try and give you the pre-cooked ones that are sat at the front which do get cold.(Visit — 17/04/2015 Lunch)

Fantastic and unbelievably cheap street food. I can eat dangerous amounts of their garlic-buttered naan, and the lahmacun is great. Also worth it simply to watch the men at work, especially when they’re going full throttle in Ramadan.

Tiny hole-in-the-wall nan bakery on Walthamstow’s High Street(home of the market also). Basically a bloke just slaps the dough around, puts it straight onto the oven and makes your nans fresh right in front of you to order(well, you and the queue of other nan-fiends). 3 garlic nans for a quid, or 4 plain nans, or 2 sesame ones. Flavour’s amazing and so fresh. They’re so amazing, virtually none make it home, I just scoff away as I walk up the market(and I only live about five minutes walk away). (And, of course, you can also call them«naans» if you want, but that’s not what the shop says.)
