Very, very good meal. Great staff and a nice atmosphere. Quick kitchen, a wide range of food choices, lovely décor. Would highly recommend trying this Argentinian restaurant. Views of the tower bridge topped it all off!

My friends decided to take me here. it’s got a great view of the bridge and of course if cow themed(think chairs with cow hides). I got the ribeye… Argentinian beef is to die for. You can also get the marinated ribeye. a bit garlicky. but good too. The vegetables and sides suck though. Posh environment… you might want to put on something nice.

A great treat for the family. Steak was excellent. Certainly the best I’d had in long time. I think most has been said by those who also gave 5 stars. Staff are fantastic. I had a slight problem with the brandy, but without going into detail it was sorted over and above than was required. Which effectively took £50 off the bill. Also removed cost of the coffees. Also, first bottle of wine was corked, and couldn’t be replaced as no more in stock. Went for another wine. The highlights of the bill: 300 grams — Fillet Steak — £34.95 White wine: Verdes Cobardes Blend — £42.50 Red wine: Mendel Malbec — £64.00 My total bill was £382.50, for two adults, and two very fussy children, who ate adult meals…

Should really be a two but the view gets it a three. All their beef is Argentinian which I’ve had in Brazil. Idk if it’s because Argentina is a LONG ways for London but I was not impressed with their steaks. My ribeye was thin and not very wide for its weight. Service was lack luster. Waiter spilled olive oil as he was placing the bread down and took a while to take a drink order. Sides were small for the price and pretty sure the green beans were under cooked. Stems were also still on(not sure if that’s acceptable here). Oh and what kind of steak house doesn’t give you steak knives?

This is a difficult one. I think the trick is if you like medium rare like me, then make sure you ask for rare, if you like well done then ask for medium, etc. The starters were lovely, the staff were really lovely, the cocktail I had was OK not great. The waiter didn’t give us a menu as he kind of offered us whatever we wanted which was nice but it would have been good to know what they had available. The mains were disappointing sadly, my boyfriend had the fillet in breadcrumbs which tasted lovely but was a bit dry. I had the trio of medallions which I asked for medium rare: the fillet was cooked medium and very dry for a fillet, which I expected to be the best cut, the sirloin(?) was cooked well done, I can’t really explain how well done it was! I had to tell the waiter which I never like to do, but he happily replaced this medallion for me with a perfectly medium rare one, the rump looked medium rare to the eye but was really crispy on the outside and the texture was quite dry, tasted like medium. The sauces were amazing the garlic oil and the chimichurri, we were nicely full so didn’t have desserts. The broccoli was a nice vegetable side. Overall it was a very expensive bill over £100 which I wouldn’t normally mind for really good steak, but I left a little disappointed. I’m glad we tried gaucho as we love to have steak everywhere! but I’m not sure we would come here again :(

The best steak I have ever had in London, and amazing views to complement it. The staff even threw in a complementary glass of bubbly seeing as we were there for a birthday celebration. Lovely sides as well(especially the corn one) and an overall lovely experience.

Me and a few work colleagues decided on this place for a lunchtime treat, the place looks good, staff are friendly and the food was OK, a nice steak cooked medium rare(although I asked for it rare). One of my colleagues was not impressed as his steak was rare and not medium rare(so could have swapped, but was too late by the time we realised), the staff did offer to cook it further which was nice but we were tight on time. The dessert was nice. Overall not too bad but wasn’t impressed with the portion sizes or lack of accompaniments. Won’t rush back.

I love a good piece of steak! Gaucho is my favorite steak house in London. I am usually not a fan of chain restaurants, but Gaucho does chain well. All locations have similar theme, but each also has its own charm. This location is right on The River Thames and you have a gorgeous view of the Tower Bridge. Enjoy a nice juicy steak with a view, now you can’t beat that! The menu is quite big and definitely brings a lot of South American flavors: they offer a variety of Ceviche(raw fish marinated in lime juicy), empanadas(Baked dumpling), and steak with chimichurri sauce. As enticing as all the starters and mains sound, I come here usually for nothing but the steak. I love the way they help you pick your meat. Different cuts of raw beef are presented on a cutting board and the server will explain to you what cut it is, what the flavor profile is, and how much you should order. You can have a piece as small as small as 225g or as big as 800g! Since I love my meat marbled, so I always go with rib-eye. It is not a cheap meal, but it is totally worth the money.

Gaucho’s has become a bit of a family favourite over the years. It started by mistake; my dad took me to one near Liverpool St station as we wanted something nice, but close to our train home. We then started to go to this location near the river, and now, every year, I go again for my birthday(and the occasional other family moment!) Gaucho’s trades on Argentinian beef. There are a set of fantastic cuts, cooked to your liking, together with an enjoyable range of sides. The sides are a little small; we find it works best to have them as a sharing experience, which works out really well. Personally, I really enjoy the food. My journey through steak from well to medium has been facilitated by Gaucho’s. The food is always well cooked and the staff are always accommodating and attentive. The wine selection is also great. As my family has expanded to include 2 young nieces, Gaucho’s have continued to accommodate us in a pretty swish restaurant; trust me, that’s quite a challenge! Overall, I really enjoy my meals here. There might be better in the city, there’s probably cheaper, but for me, this is a great place for a great steak.

Visited this restaurant for a company dinner. We were warmly greeted with mulled wine while we waited for coats and bags to be checked and to be seated. Nice touch! We were seated at a nice windowside table with a spectacular view of the Towerbridge! The ceviche sampler appetizer was amazing. Highly recommended. All of the steaks look amazing and the sirloin I had was pretty good, four out of five stars for the steak. Service was good and attentive. Not the best or the quickest but totally fine.

It’s a really nice place with fantastic views to Tower Bridge. The service was amazing good and all the different steaks were shown and explained before we ordered. Never have eaten a similar good steak. Very recommendable.

Excellent Argentinian steakhouse. The décor is modern and trendy with a great vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. The skirt steak was mouth wateringly good and the bread buns with cheese delicious. Great place.

Came for the lunch menu and while my colleagues enjoyed their meals I was left very underwhelmed. The 3 course menu was good value and the starter and dessert were enjoyable the portion size could have been increased slightly. The whole experience was ruined by the main course. I requested my steak medium rare and when it arrived it looked as though it had barely been into a warm pan. No one arrived to check on how our meals were for quite a while and by the time someone came I was out of time although they did suggest sending it back to the kitchen for additional cooking. Not really an experience I’m in a rush to repeat

Went on a Tuesday night with work colleagues and was treated to an amazing seat with a view of the Tower Bridge. The server was knowledgeable explaining all of the different cuts and promptly filled our wine glasses when they were two-thirds empty. The food was amazing; I went with the skirt steak, which is not your typical order at a steak place but I knew if they cooked it the right way it wouldn’t be tough or flavorless like some skirt can be if not done properly. It was also seasoned with oil, garlic, and another spice which gave it amazing flavor. They cooked it perfectly to the point I didn’t need a steak knife to slice it; the dinner knife did just fine. The sides were good, although somewhat limited. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that the side options aren’t very expansive. The wine list was large and included many of the labels and blends that complement steak, but not too large which I think is fine for a steak house. Larger selections tend to make you feel there are lesser quality selections lurking in there so you have to pay extra attention. The final bill puts a scare into you for a split second, but with quality meat, wine, views, and service like this you can justify it.

Wasn’t impressed. Eaten at steak houses all over the world and this one was a distant what the hell did I pay for that?!? The appetizer of chorizo was amazing, but they really messed up the steak. I’ve paid equivalent prices in American steakhouses and didn’t have to saw on it nearly as much as this place. People mean well, but be prepared to enjoy the atmosphere and ask for your steak well done. Sorry, it’s true. Not an «avoid», but I feel like I got taken. Service was professional and as it should be. Very impressed with staff.

Best steak I have ever had. Close to the city with a rather impressive view. The service was excellent and the food totally orgasmic. The wine collection is large and the deserts were the perfect finishing touch to an unbelievably tasty experience. The place is not cheap but worth every penny. Definitely recommended.

The view is the best thing about this place as my favourite site in London is Tower Bridge. Wow. The steak is excellent. I had the rib eye. We had raw fish for starter, cheesecake for desert(which was s bit too sickly for my taste and the biscuit was too soft, I like my biscuit to be biscuit) the desert wine was lovely as was our melbeck. The white Russian cocktails were also fabulous.

Did I die and go to heaven? By far best steak I’ve ever had. So soft you could cut it with a butter knife. It’s candlelit with chandeliers and an Argentina flare with the décor. I loved this place and would definitely go back if I ever got the chance!
