Know this Place for years now, but fortunately it seems to keep its standards. Spaghetti a la carbonara(the real one without cream) will ever be my favorite

Beautiful restaurant with good service! We were lookinh for a good italian meal and found this one in Marylebone that had good price and looked good! Dishes are well served, I had the carbonara and enjoyed it! Pasta was al dente but I thought it was too creamy and it wasn’t made with original ingredient pancetta which makes it more flavourfull. My sister had the cod, baccalo which was delicious! It was a good meal overall and i would come back to try the seafood risotto that looked really good!

Good sparkling water, then… a TOTALLYSUBSTANDARD meal. The pizza base was doughy and too thick, and lacked the essential chewy, slightly burnt crispy thinness that makes good pizza worthwhile. Otherwise, DONTBOTHERSERVINGIT! Capice? Good service, overpriced. Don’t bother.

I have no idea why this place has such high ratings. Pizzas are bland and tasteless. Mains were an inordinately long wait but again decidedly average.

Lovely food, had the ravioli. Was a busy lunch hour, it seemed the waitresses were a bit flustered but the head waiter noticed and took control to make sure everyone was served. A little on the pricey side but thoroughly enjoyable lunch, yum!

Delicious Italian food in the Marylebone neighborhood. Located on a street corner, you will want to take an outside table so that you can watch the traffic go by — pedestrian and otherwise. Not a massive selection, but what they do, they do well. I had the crostini al funghi to start — delicious mushrooms on top of a piece of toasted bread with a few pieces of delicious coppa salami. Really great to whet the appetite, I was plenty hungry when my Vegetarian pizza arrived. Lots of mozzarella cheese and slightly sweet mascarpone with veggies on a thin crust pizza. I’m still trying to figure out how these Europeans eat pizza with a knife and fork — I was an uncouth American and picked it up to eat. When the main was cleared, I found myself ordering dessert. Big mistake, I ended up eating all of it. I was SO stuffed. Excellent service and really good food, I would absolutely return.

I like it. Staff seemed very friendly and helpful(even a bit playful it seemed), food was good. I did find it a bit odd that they included an «optional» 12.5% tip on the bill already, I’m new to London but it doesn’t seem to be normal there. There are some discussions online about whether tips l ike that actually make it to the people who deserve it.

This place is pretty average. I had various types of ham with chicken liver pâté on toast to start(toast pretty dry) and then a pizza picante(pizza base far too crispy, tasted like a pizza i might have bought from the co-op, although probably slightly less nice than that). On the plus side, I met roy hodgson here once in the summer, when he was about to go and meet the bbc about commentating on the world cup(wasn’t particularly good then either, only went back because my client likes it).

Many years ago this place used to be an elegant fine dining. Such a shame that over the years, after many bad managements, this place got outclassed by other restaurant chains. No more italian staff, either on the floor or in the kitchen. No more table clothes, just bare wooden table. Linen got replaced by paper napkins. Cold and unwelcoming service. Cheap food and wine overpriced. Very disappointing to find what no more than ten years ago was the best italian fine dining in the area, to be now another tavern of the former spaghetti house chain.

So its a sunny Saturday on Marylebone Highstreet and it hits lunctime and you have to ask yourself one question punk… Just how do you meet the appetites of an(over) grown man, a sophisticated lady and a three year old(who seems to be developing into a vegitarian). Getti Restaurant I hear you say… someone did say Getti Restaurant right? Well punk you have to ask yourself do you feel lucky… The guy takes the Pizza — Piccante — mmmmmmmmm… spicy. The gal takes a nice glass of wine and the mozzarella avocado salad — mmmmmmmmm… fresh… and then the spaghetti carbonara mmmmmmmmm… best Carbonara she has ever eaten. The munchkin takes the spaghetti carbonara(with the meat taken out) — she calls them Skeddies — mmmmmmmmm… lip smackingly good. The Staff are both delightful and attentive. The only un-answered question is… So now its a sunny Sunday on Marylebone Highstreet and it hits lunctime… well I think you see where I am going with this. Getti Restaurant… so good they should have named it twice.

It looked upscale from the outside peering in. Once I walked in, the servers were extremely friendly and energetic. I was taken to a table in the lower ground floor. The décor was OK… not too cheesy Italian but bordering on the generic side. The food was decent, if a bit on the pricey side for what I got. The wine was good. Service was excellent!

It’s been a long time coming for me, 3 weeks without any good Italian food in sight and lo and behold I find this place. Actually, one of my study abroad gal pals happen to spot this Italian restaurant– and boy was I happy. Spaghetti carbonara, paparadelle bolognese, a variety of olives and delicious rustic bread– I was in heaven!!! Their prices aren’t bad– I just paid a little under 15 pounds for my meal during lunch and that included dessert! I ate this flourless chocolate cake served with vanilla bean ice cream. Their service was great in comparison to other restaurants that I’ve been to here in London. They refilled my drink a few times, and cleared the table before dessert was served. Usually they just drop off tap water and call it a day, but I was surprised. I guess it’s true what they say about me– nothing comes between me and my Italian food fix.

DOnt bother with this place would be my advice. it’s a shining example of Italian restaurants that rely on mediocre ingredients and names of fancy ingredients to hget you in but htne show none of the trademark Italian subtlety of coking. The food is at best OK and at worst worse than the kind of pasta you could make. Perhaps you are enticed by one of the many offers they send out on various websites but my advice would be, ignore them and pay a bit more for a genuine restaurant run by people who really like food.

I visited this restaurant last week June 14th with my daughter. I had lamb cutlets on a bed of spring cabbage with onion marmalade — it was great. My daughter had king prawn tagliatelle. She loved it. A glass of wine was £6.95. We then had tiramasu. We enjoyed our meal and it came to £70. A little expensive but enjoyable. Waiters were helpful. Very good. Would go again.

Situated in the really posher end of the chic Marylebone district, Getti is a bright, modern restaurant serving award-winning Italian cuisine. The fresh blue and white interior, is tastefully decorated with curvy chairs and cosy alcoves, strikes a good balance between friendliness and intimacy. Getti’s ingredients are mainly sourced from the Mediterranean, to create simple, healthy and time-tested dishes that Italy is well known for. A menu of regional recipes includes tagliatelle with scallops and slices of veal with sage and Parma ham and they filling and very satisfying. Getti also offers this central London venue for private dining for corporate events, press launches, parties or even weddings.
