Newly opened… yay!(It’s about time though, as they’ve been saying«opening soon» for over half a year now ;-) M’ita is an Italian delicatessen shop offering the usual Italian stuff such as pizza slices, Aubergine Milanese, focaccia, panninis, salads etc. Honestly, nothing surprising, but it fits in the Marylebone area where such indecent shops are missing and will find a welcoming audience. I had the caramelized goat cheese on a bed of mixed greens, avocados and sun dried tomatoes, as well as a generous slice of courgette pizza. The goat cheese was quite tasty and the caramelized topping made it almost dessert like(not unsimilar to crème brûlée). The«bed of greens» could have been a bit more exciting and I was more searching for the tiny avocado pieces… maybe use a cheaper vegetable, that could be offered in more abundance? As for the courgette pizza, that was a bit dry for my taste, but tasty nevertheless. Overall, I feel this place is a bit heavy on carbs and personally doesn’t offer enough veggie options for me. The staff, however, is super friendly and I left the shop with a sampling of some typical Italian bread.
