One of those places made for high end hipsters that made it, where you wish you could buy everything, starting with that«musk» candle to those 890£ beige sneakers that you clearly don’t need. This unisex clothing store offers a vast amount of curated brands, but clearly on the higher scale of the price spectrum… one day, right? One day. But until that day, it s just pretty nice to come here, look, touch, and get inspired.

Very difficult to order from the US. I never had issues with any other UK retailer. They require you to tick and tie your home address with a utility bill when you order, which can be difficult if you are out of town. If this is a mandatory requirement for all orders, I’m not sure why they don’t automate this on their website where you can just upload a picture of your utility bill when you put your order in? I even provided my record of sale for my apartment from the NY dept of finance website since all real estate transactions are public record in NY state and even that wasn’t good enough proof! Anyway, I’ve never encountered such a strange and unprofessional audit system before and won’t go through the trouble of ordering from them again.

If you’re not a fan of shopping in stylishly laid out shops which sell all manner of products from pricey clothes to toiletries then you’d better avoid this place. They have a variety of brands and it’s all very nice, if achingly hip. I do like Norse projects and they have a good range of their clothing and other stuff here. They also have Aesop if you can’t be bothered to walk over to redchurch st and visit the store itself(although you should as you can try them all out over there). The staff are helpful enough so pop in if you’re feeling like treating yourself.

This store has a lovely layout, very conducive to browsing through ALLTHETHINGS. They have the softest of shirts, and some amazing smelling candles and lotions. The women’s clothing was a little out of my style range(graphic tees, jorts, platform sneakers, etc.) but they had a decent selection. If you have a leopard crop top hanging in your closet, there is probably something here for you. Go get ‘em. I found the men’s clothing section more toned down, and my boyfriend walked away with an adorable pair of Vans(on sale, woop). We also browsed through the skin, hair, home sections downstairs. If I were looking for a nice gift for a girlfriend or colleague I might wander through here. The Hay design collection had some fun surprises. Worth a wander!

Goodhood grows up! I had popped my head in a few times at Goodhood’s small East London outpost(formerly on Coronet Street, tucked away just off Hoxton Square) — but they’ve now moved to these much nicer, much larger, much posher digs on Curtain Road. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this new location boasts a large lower level(with kids clothes! and lighting! and cosmetics/products!) as well as the main level with men’s and women’s fashion. Goodhood is a very popular lifestyle brand(just check out their following on twitter/instagram/facebook) — and one can see why. It’s very hip. I didn’t find anything on this particular visit. The clothing isn’t quite me. It’s also very pricey. The kids clothes are cute, but anyone with an actual child realizes that it’s an unnecessary expenditure to buy duds that get covered in food/drool, etc. I’m sure non-parents could buy these as gifts though! I’ll be back to explore the cosmetics/product lines and homewares though… also very fond of their jewelry. Similar designs to Start nearby. Summary: great if you are looking for a unique gift or for something special for yourself or your home. Fun to have a poke around. I can’t pull off most of the fashion but could def be convinced with some of their home items or beauty stuff. Also, everyone was friendly. A nice change for a boutique in Shoreditch!
