ibis London Excel Docklands

I stayed for two nights in August 2015. Overall, my room was very clean, and for a budget-​level hotel, décor and room extras were in good shape and attractively presented the rooms had good lighting compared to some hotels I’ve stayed in. The hotel is very modern and clean.
Bathroom was interesting been a pre-​fab pod in the corner no issue with that as every thing was provided (towels and soap etc) again the lighting was good compared to some. The bath room was cleaned every day and the towels where changed on a daily basis, so no issue there.
I paid for the premium package. In my option it was worth it for the better wi-​fi, since I was trending a media event and need good connection. I believe there is a free wi-​fi, but I am not sure how good it is. (i marked the paid box in additional tips for wi-​fi since I paid).
The staff where friendly and helpful.
Overall for a budget hotel the standard was high. I is we’ll served with transport facilities been easy acceptable through tube, DLR and the emirates cable car. there are some excellent restaurants near as well.

stayed here for a few days with my friends on a school trip to the UK and EUR.
the Hotel is very nice, clean and the service it amazing.
we went in 2007, so they were stil building next to the dock to make something for the olypics, to this day, i still do not know what it was for.
great hotel, stay here if you get the opportunity.
