Delicious and fresh sushi to take away. I tried to eat in on a Friday night but they were fully booked. Friendly staff, not too expensive and good portions.

My favourite restaurant in the area! The menu might not be very adventurous as someone else has pointed out here but I am not looking for that either as I have a few favourite dishes that I do not mind re-ordering every time I go there. I was hesitating between four and five stars though because at times, especially on weekend evenings, the restaurant can get quite busy and then, typically, they have a service problem as the chefs cannot keep up. They normally have at most two chefs and four or so waiters. I do not really understand it as surely for a tiny restaurant where people mostly go to for food and not drinks, shouldn’t it be the other way around? Last time we had to wait for our food for about one hour. The food was great when it was served though and we did not mind the wait too much. Hence, I’m leaving the fifth star.

I’ve been here quite a few times since its in the neighborhood and I have always been very pleased. The menu isn’t very adventurous(i.e not over the top Westernized with special sauces and super stuffed), but they carry all the staples and they do it well. The sushi is very fresh and the dishes are presentable. The staff is very fast(probably the fastest I have ever seen), friendly and have never made a mistake. I have never seen this place busy, which is a shame because people are missing out. My overall rating is good, not mind blowing. I wouldn’t travel across the city to come here, but if I was in the neighborhood, I’d definitely stop by.

Very authentic Japanese cuisine with savory traditional dishes for lunch. Friendly staff, Japanese it seems, and good service. I went there for lunch twice with my wife and we had a very nice lunch. I would recommend for the dishes and the privacy.

This is everything that is wrong with London Sushi, which, in case you were wondering, is a real thing. And before I rant on how much I hated everything in this place, I’ll say this: it hasn’t been open all that long, so I feel like it’s ok to give them a little leeway — hence two stars rather than one. SO! Food: below average, think day old Yo! Sushi Selection: below average: on the evening I went they had run out of a lot of dishes, and their menu is not all that exciting to start with Personnel: Overworked, tired looking, and under paid. No one wanted to be there and the waitresses did not know their soba from their sashimi. TRAGICTRAGICTRAGIC, and the real kicker was that dinner for two came out at £60! For some crapatastic fake Japanese shiet? HELL to the NO.
