So first things first, this bar is open for business, for some reason it shows as ‘permanently closed’ on the Unilocal app. I have re-added it as it is definitely open. Whilst it’s a bit dark inside their are plenty of seats available. There was even one overly amorous couple who most certainly should have got a room! Anyway a couple of issues the first one was on first request we were told food is not available, but clearly visible is the specials menu on the wall? So asking another person behind the bar we find their is food! Yeah. The tables have no numbers so you have to point/describe where you are sat(and then prayto the gods your food order gets to the right place!!!) In fairness to the staff our food did indeed arrive safely. Whilst the food is nothing spectacular it most certainly hit the spot. The volume of the background music could use turning down a little as I did find I had to have a loud conversation and continually turn my head to catch all the conversation! We only ended up in here as the bar next door had no seats available their loss Jamie’s gain. I have to say even though the music was a little loud(am I getting old?) I would visit here again as it has an atmosphere and you can be lazy and order drinks from your table or go to the bar your choice.

I was bounced for NOREASONWHATSOEVER. I wasn’t hassling anyone, was just talking to a couple of girls(who I had been talking with for hours and were happy to be in my company) and the bartender suddenly motioned to the bouncer to have me thrown out(he was either jealous or paid off by a jealous patron, or both). I was given no explanation. Unless you like the thought of having a pleasant evening abruptly ruined by being suddenly 86’d for no reason, TAKEYOURCUSTOMELSEWHERE.
