It was an okay night, better due to being with friends than the actual location. The room we booked smelled a little, it was really hot so I guess it was probably from the prior group. Drinks were reasonably priced and we could get a waiter to come to the room for orders which was on par with other karaōke spots I’ve been to. The major problem though was the karaōke itself, we weren’t sure what was going on but it seemed like the videos(completely random and nothing to do with the music) seemed to need to buffer every now and again leading to a delay between the music, which didn’t pause, and the words. Staff response was ‘it happens now and again’ but it was pretty much every song! The touchscreen system could use a little work too, what’s the point of having suggested playlists if there aren’t any songs in them? It just seemed a little hit and miss for me, if I was going to book another place, I’d probably go for Lucky Voice or get a room at All Star Lanes.

Great place to get together with a group of friends and sing your heart out! Private rooms with a call button for bar service, staff were friendly and attentive. Price works out quite reasonable when split between a few people.

I don’t have much experience on the karaōke scene, but Karaōke Box is the favourite with the crew. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean. However, all of the toilet seats in the ladies were broken — severely broken.(How does that even happen?!) There is a wide array of songs available as we never seem to be struggling to build a playlist. The only real issue that brings down the quality of the karaōke is the random selection of video clips that play in the background. It truly is «WTF!» — there is no other way to describe what is happening in the background behind the lyrics. So strange. Still a great night out in Mayfair, though!
