Oh So tasty Korean rice boxes and burritos. The menu is small(but personally I don’t trust gigantic menus as the quality and the execution is rarely there), but you can easily mix and match. Both meat lover(chicken, pork, and beef) and vegetarians(really yummy tofu) will be pleased. If you don’t like it spicy pass your way as they can have an heavy band on spices. Perfect spot to eat on the go.

Korrito is a great idea, but I wish the execution were a little better. I did enjoy the beef bulgogi burrito, but as Ive found with other korean places in London, it lacked a little flavor. There just isnt enough spice/sauce, and the rice does not hold its own. Additionally, the beef used wasnt of the highest quality. This can be expected if the sauces are strong enough, but that was just not the case here. I think if they added about 3x the spice sauce, and cooked the beef in more sauce as well, there would be more kick. I think my expectations of korean burritos(and all burritos for that matter) just wont be met in London. Also, they seem to close at about 9pm every night, so the business hours on this website are not correct.

YUM! Quite simply my favourite burrito in London. Perfectly spiced pork belly, kimchi, Korean rice and salad all rolled up in a MASSIVE burrito. SO flavoursome! I just love it. It’s actually big enough to last me two lunches if I’m good(I am sometimes…) There is a deal for a set meal in the evenings, which works perfectly as a pre-cinema treat if you’re headed to Rich Mix, or a filler before those Friday night drinks. And they serve authentic Korean Hite beer, which is also super yum. I’ve tried the salad too when I was trying to be well behaved(I told you…) but it’s such a generous helping of meat, on quite a small bed of salad, so it didn’t really feel particularly healthy. Delicious, but not so healthy. Just stick to the burrito ;)

Their website advises they open at 12:00. I arrived at 12:10 to avoid the lunch rush. They said they were running slightly behind and would be open at 12:30. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back at 12:40. They then said another 20 minutes without any form of apology. I then walked out straight away as I was so frustrated and disappointed with the service. Do not say you’ll be open and then not have anything ready. Especially for a lunch service as people don’t have an unlimited time to to wait around or take for a work lunch.(Visit — 23/01/2015 Lunch)

Legitimate Korean rice box. Simple menu, not many choices but you can mix n match them the way you like. Beef, spicy pork and chicken with rice or wrap. Today I went for a Korean beef rice box with salad together with kimchi fried rice. The portion is just right for a man and the salad makes it less guilty.

What does it say that the BEST burrito I’ve had in London is Korean? Well it says Koreans know what’s up. Given a crazy work week and wrangling a small child in a bath and out of a bath around dinnertime(much like an episode of crocodile wrestling on National Geographic) — we opted for the ultimate Friday date night: Delivery.(Deliveroo had it here in 30 minutes). Win. Our order: *Burrito with Bulgogi Beef and Kimchi Fried Rice(highlight!) *Half Moon Dumplings with Korean Soy Dipping Sauce *Salad Box with Buldak Chicken and Kimchi Fried Rice *Salad Box with Bulgogi Beef and Sticky Rice *Spicy Spring Rolls with Kimchi Garlic Mayo(AMAZING) *Rice Box with Spicy Pork Belly and Kimchi Fried Rice I obviously ordered a few things to ensure some leftovers for Saturday, but regardless the spicy spring rolls and burrito were perfection. My husband did remark that his Buldak Chicken was super spicy, almost overwhelmingly so – if you are averse, you may want to ask if they can tone it down for you. So, in sum — burrito with bulgogi beef and kimchi fried rice + an order of spicy spring rolls was just about the best combo meal I’ve had in a very long time. And that burrito smoked any«Mexican»(yes, in quotes) imposter burrito I’ve had this side of Chicago.

Korrito essentially combines two of my favorite things: Korean food and the burrito… Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll be familiar with the burrito store ordering style of box, burrito or rice box. They’ve got pork belly, bulgogi beef and chicken and then you can put on white rice(why) or kimchi fried rice(because this exists) and then wrap it all up and take it away with your Hite beer. It’s pretty good and mostly what I wanted it to be, though I’m a bit of a heat fiend and could have done with either more chilli or sauce, or both, or perhaps incorporate kimchi into the burrito… I’m not sure, but there’s a small something that I wanted to tweak. I’ll be back to try some more combinations and perhaps I’ll hit the jackpot but I like what they’re doing!
