Kinda hard for me to review as I know nothing about Afghan food … So my menu selections were completely random with the inevitable danger of finding all the dishes that least suit my palate … So with that in mind …
Venue is one step up from the places that have selections of food in metal trays kept warm all day … Not that I mind eating like I am a Roman …
But basically this is stew and rice or grilled meat with salad … You can more or less watch the flat breads be cooked to order from the street.
I don’t know that I would recommend a trip out of anyone’s way to eat here (I am sure there are more convenient Afghan restaurants if one has a burning desire to tick off another nations food tasted) but I would say if you need to eat and kill time at Shepherds bush it is worth popping in drink tea and eat.
You won’t leave hungry and poor which is a good thing …
