He had the ‘Sweet French Toast’ that came with fruit. I had the ‘Fried Eggs & Spicy Sausage in Cast Iron Pan’. The food came out fast and cooked well. The latte I had was well made so I really have no complaints. I can see myself going back here and my only wish is that it was closer to home so I can roll out of bed, cross the street and get a cuppa and head back home. But I am willing to get on public transport to eat here again. And that’s saying a lot. Best part? This place is super affordable. We paid around £10 for a yummy breakfast. The atmosphere is very relaxing and cute. And looking forward to checking out their garden.

Who’d have thought a café in the middle of Archway island could be a little oasis of calm? But here it is — a lovely garden out back, with a water feature and over 9 tables seating 4 people each, plus plenty of space inside. We helped ourselves to their papers, ordered two fresh OJ’s and relaxed in a little pocket of sun for a few hours, before tackling Highgate hill. I can’t comment on the food, as we didn’t eat, but the bakery fridge looked fantastic — petit pattiseries to tempt the tastebuds!

Fantastic little café/restaurant which is in something like the ‘mediterranean fusion’ genre of things. Breakfast in the garden out back is particularly pleasant, and we had an assortment of goats cheese filo parcels and other tasty treats. Great service and reasonably priced too. Highly recommended if you’re in Archway.
