Six of my family went to limoncello last Sunday evening, it was our first visit there. The staff were nice and friendly and the restaurant clean and tidy. We all thought the food was good and enjoyed our meal. I would recommend it as a nice family restaurant. A couple of things to note is that they do not hurry you and are not quick in serving the meals. Also the drinks are a bit expensive £14.50 for a bottle of house red. Despite these items we all had a very good meal and will be returning again soon.

A lovely restaurant. The staff take good care of you and the food is fantastic. A great place for a family get together!

This is by far one of my favourite Italian restaurants. My dad recommended it(and he is much harder to please than me so I knew it had to be good!). After a spot of lunch my friend was so impressed she booked a table for her boyfriend’s birthday — we celebrated last weekend and it was fabulous. The staff treated us like been going there for years and the food could have come from Jamie Oliver. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking a beautiful restaurant and a reasonable price!

After I read the nice reviews about Limoncello I was really happy to find a nice Italian restaurant just around the corner. We were quite impressed of the design. Warm colours, modern design, very nice atmosphere. The starter(Bruschetta) was great. So I thought the pizza will be great as well. I was so wrong. I could hardly eat it. I know how great Italian Salami can taste. The five(!) little pieces of meat were like a rubber. I couldn’t eat it. The rest of the pizza had nothing special. Also my partner was disappointed with his main course(Gnocchi). I didn’t finish my Pizza and ordered Tiramisu which was kind of a compensation — like the starter: it was very delicious. You don’t go to a restaurant for a starter and a dessert. You go for the main course which was more than disappointing. So I am afraid, this was the first and last time that I went to the Limoncello.

As at May 2009 this lovely place has been shut some months for a refurbishment though nothing seems to be going on. It is still fully furnished and doesn’t look at all uncared for and I hope the proprietors are simply having a few months off before coming back again. It will be a shame if the place doesn’t open again, it was a friendly restaurant and the food was great.

Limoncello is a large Italian restaurant between New Eltham and Sidcup, and has a clean, fresh modern interior. The toilets are modern and are always kept clean. In the Summer you can sit outside the front of the restaurant under large parasols, which although it is on quite a busy road is still a pleasurable experience. Whenever I have been here I have had good service, the food has been excellent. However, it isn’t cheap, but not overly expensive either. The deserts are a little on the dear side, but again, excellent. At the moment they are currently running a special offer on pizzas on Friday and Saturday evenings(before 6.30 as far as I am aware) — pizza for £5 eat in or take away — and they taste amazing! Highly recommended.

Visited for the first Time Nov 2008. very warm & Welcoming with modern décor. As the name suggests this is an Italian restaurant serving everything from pizza to steak. The pasta portions come in small or large depending on your appetite. I can reccomend the large Linguine Frutti di Mar, the pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly and the range of shellfish in it was superb. The starters are a little expensive but you get what you pay for. the deserts are delicious. Our meal for 4 with drinks came to just over £100 with drinks and service included. Cant wait to return in the summer and sit on the patio!
