Love this local Portugese delicatessen cum café with a couple of tables outside and window ledge seating on the shop front facing the counter, where you can grab a brilliant coffee and a delicious cake. Really good value too.

Awesome place to drop into. Stand against the bar and ask for a ham, cheese inside some pão de leite(‘milk bread’)… Best sandwich ever, like … !!! Grab a coffee and the jobs done. The guys there are great and friendly. Although there are only a few tables outside it’s still worth travelling there… A must visit weekly place. See you there

This place is great. I often stop there for natas and cod fish cakes while on my way to the west end. It’s also the best place for birthday cakes that I know of in London. Talk to them(the owners, not the cakes) and ask them about the different styles they can make them, should you need one. They need to be ordered a couple of days in advance, but are absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced. I must have got about two dozens for myself and friends since I moved to north London. It’s a tiny place so it can be difficult to move about on the inside sometimes, especially when there are a lot of «portugas» taking their time drinking expressos and browsing the articles from home on display. I recommend you don’t go there too late in the afternoon if looking to get other cakes, as they often run out soon after lunch.
