This was impossible to find when I went looking for it last week. I think it closed down. I’ve been a huge fan of Loving Hut for about five years since I first experienced it in the US. I was excited that Camden had a Loving Hut but since it is nowhere to be found I’ll have to travel further to another location.

Not sure how one of the previous reviewers can give this place 1* after being given a free burger… I have been to a few Loving Huts in CA and NYC, and although this branch doesn’t have such a wide menu as some of the other franchises there were still 4 types of burger and 3 cake options when I went! It’s great that they sell frozen food too so you can make it at home. I’m not a follower of the Supreme Master but I am vegan and will definitely be back!

Updating my review from when I first ate here about a year ago. Now they’ve refurbished it, I kinda can’t stand it. They’ve taken a lot off of the menu, and the stuff they have kept, they’ve changed. The chicken burger was my favourite, and now it’s half the thickness, harder, with less filling(apparently now they don’t do vegusto slices either, which I loved). It basically didn’t taste of anything when I had it yesterday. My friends(who’d never visited) were disappointed, because I’d raved to them about how good LH is. LH Archway is still awesome though, so I’ll continue to frequent there on a regular basis! I still need to try the Edgware branch too.

YOUGUYS. This place has vegan fish and chips. It’s the first real meal I ate in London, and I couldn’t be happier. This place, a Loving Hut chain(the tv was off when my friend and I dined in; I was disappointed because I didn’t get to show him the Supreme Master in all her weird glory), is quite small on the inside and has a small menu. But that’s okay, because why would you order anything else* but fish and chips?! It was super affordable(5 pounds, maybe?) and lots of fun. I was expecting tofu, but got instead the weird soy fishy textured thing. It had seaweed along the top, and the whole thing was battered and deep fried. Served with chips and a tiny green salad(maybe it was a garnish, but I ate it all up). It was one of those things like Hungry TIger Too(in Portland, Ore)‘s Chicken and Waffles: I order it. I eat it. I think, ‘Hmmm, that was okay. Kinda weird.” Then I can’t stop thinking about it and want to eat it some more. I would definitely come back here to eat the weird Fish & Chips. It was remarkably and weirdly tasty, and I’m still thinking about it now, weeks later. * My friend actually ordered an extremely tasty curry noodle fakey chicken dish that I loved and he was pleasantly surprised by.

This place gives the loving hut brand a bad name. The one in Upland, California is way better. The guy running this restaurant tried brainwashing my sister into starving herself by becoming a breatharian! Also, the food wasn’t great and options were lacking. There was way too much mustard in the loving hut wrap. Despite all this, he gave us a free burger :-) It was an interesting experience!

The Loving Hut! All Vegan Café! This place is always a hit, very friendly staff, the food is always done right, healthy, super flavorful. Sigh, I wish there was one closer! Well there is one in SF, which is closer than London, haha, but still down the street would be nice! They have a «cheese cake» with a granola style crust. ITS.SO.GOOD. Get a piece to go and brew up some tea or coffee… you won’t be sorry ;)
