This company specialises in letting to foreingers from france, Italy, Switzerland, Poland etc. who are studying english, on vaction etc. An example of how this works:
Someone living in france pays a company their a deposit, when they arrive in London, they pay 2 weeks rent, then pay the rent per week, or as and when required. Im English but had a couple of french freinds wanting to get accom. So at the time i was living in Southampton, and rather than travelling up to find accom. i payed my french freind a deposit to pay in Paris, easier than travelling up looking for a room.

Location of flats (where i stayed) in Barons Court — 3 min walk and nice area (Kensington)

CONS
Extortianet rent! £158 per week when.
Accomadation is sub standard (for what u pay) Furniture looks like it was picked up at the skip (i bet my right testicle that this is the case). Bed used to buggery!
dirty room
Janitor comes around every other day, inspecting asking if your here alone etc. (trying to find out if your harbouring anyone!)
No microwave, toaster, blender, mirror in bathroom
fire alarm not affixed to wall — sat on top of door frame.
one vacum cleaner shared between 5 – 10 flats!
No Lounge
Vittoria (owner) constantly moving mattresses around with the janitor — wtf?
