If you are near Bayswater and Queensway you are probably one of hundreds of tourists staying at nearby hostels, you came to have some good Chinese or like me you are one of the locals coming for a haircut. For some reason there are about a dozen salons in a close proximity. George G and M&V are two that I’ve been to and whilst both are good for a guy’s haircut, I prefer M&V. They are exactly what I need: friendly, quick, open 7 days a week and not overpriced. M&V is owned by an Italian and most employees and customers are Italian, but they were very welcoming to other nationalities. So if you want to practice Italian or just get a haircut, make a reservation and ask for Andrea. Say her current customer sent you.

I had a haircut recently at M&V and I have to say I was really pleased with the service and the result, most of the staff is from Italy and that makes for a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, good value for money and excellent complimentary coffee ! Will be back !
