Perfect experience. Clive who cut my hair was genuine and welcoming and for a decent price I got exactly the service I was looking for (great haircut, good conversation and no unnecessary frills). Will be returning for sure!

Is there anything more frightening than moving to a new city and having to choose a new hair dresser?
Making Waves is just down the street from me and had the most reasonable prices of a few other salons that I checked, so I decided to pop in for a visit. I can’t believe how expensive it is to get hair cut in London. This place offers a dry cut for £15. Fantastic.
Everyone was a very friendly, and it was an incredibly nice atmosphere. Clive, the owner, cut my hair and was wonderfully chatty.
I will definitely be back here as long as I’m living in Pimlico!

I cannot speak highly enough of this salon. I’ve been a regular for nearly 4 years and for the area and London in general it is more than excellent value for money.
As a family run business, Clive the owner, who took over from his Dad, is extremely friendly, attentive and hilarious. One of my friends and I have recommended so many friends and colleagues to the salon that we will forever be on his Christmas card and Faceyb friend list!
I can highly recommend the colour treatments and cuts/​blowdries at the salon as I have those regularly, also the lovely cups of tea/​coffee/​water; good tunes as background music and the friendly banter you get too ;-)
The salon, just a short walk from Pimlico tube, Victoria and served by many a London bus, is such a treasure that I found it difficult to Unilocal about it as I don’t want it to be too over-​run!

I’ve been going here since I moved to London three years ago and it’s by far the best hairdressers I’ve ever been to. Clive — the part owner — has snipped, straightened and coloured my hair into endless styles and I’ve never been disappointed with the result.
The salon itself is cosy and friendly rather than trendy and sleek, and you can tell that many of the clients who go there for their shampoo and sets have been customers for decades.
If you want a decent cut and colour that won’t break the bank, give Clive a call, and tell him I sent you ;)
