Huh, what was Queen B on about? Ok, so we went to Queensway to look for a Shisha place as it was closed to Lancaster Gate. We went past a few but they were all full, so we decided to try Manoush. First impression from outside looking in, it seemed like Queen B might be right, but when one of the waiting staffs asked us if we would like to go out to the back garden. I couldn’t say NO to that. The garden is not much, but it was cosy, warm and clean. We came for the Shisha, but ended up eating as well. I had a lamb kebab, which cost £11 and the portion was humongous. Kebab came with rice and salad. It wasn’t the best kebab I’ve eaten but it was not bad either. The service was ok. Waiters could be more attentive with our Shisha as it kept dying. We had to call him over 3 times just to fix it and he was standing just 2 meters away. I don’t think I’ll be coming here again, but if you like your meal portions large then this is the place for you. Oh and no Romanian women screaming at me to pay the bill. How disappointing.

I came here at the weekend for a meal and shisha with a couple of other friends. I thought the service was great(don’t know what QueenB B is harping on about– probably used to that very artificial American service. This was a lot more genuine). I very much enjoyed the traditional Persian stew and the Mirza Ghasemi, though I ate far too much, then we had a delicious coconut shisha in the garden, which was a lovely little spot with its pretty lights and water decorations. Definitely somewhere I’d like to return to.

The service was horrendous by this romanian women screaming at me to pay the bill Just disgusting these london people and how they treat outsiders. Please beware and stay away from these tourist areas as criminals and thieves try to steal your information by using this portable credit machine. It is a shady and unhonest business. They need to fire this romanian rude women and WHEREISPROPERCUSTOMERSERVICEHEREINLONDON? ITDOESNTEXISTANDITISOVERPRICEDFORSHITEVERYTHING. THEFOODWASAVERAGE, NOHOSPITALITYANDOVERPRICED!!! Nice food, good service. The 6-persons menu was delicious! Good value for money. Especially if you’re a carnivore and line spicey dishes. I could very much recommend this restaurant!

I have nothing but praise — and I am usually a harsh critic. The four areas that I rate: food, décor, service and price. In each Manoush excelled. The food has me drooling from behind my phone. I’ve eaten here four times. Each time has left my taste buds orgasmic. The chicken is succulent, the rice tender. Decoration and presentation is fabulous. Portions are huge! Service is top class. Attentive waiters. The manager is brilliant. The place is clean and comfortable. Not your romantic, candle lit haven — but that’s the point. It’s perfectly charming being what it is. Prices will have you thinking it’s all a big joke. Granted, wine menu is a bit much, but I suppose alcohol licenses aren’t cheap either. You HAVE to eat here to believe it.

Teuer, aber sehr leckeres Essen und große Portionen. Ausgesprochen freundliche Bedienung.

Wandered down Queensway looking for some non-asian food and came across Manoush. Wasn’t sure what to expect so naturally the bar was set low but we were pleasantly surprised! We tried the Koobideh and the Chicken Kebap and both were great! We got the lunch specials which were about 5.95 for a full plate piled with meats, salad, and rice. What a deal!
