Brilliant service, food came within 3 minutes. Staff were very friendly and the food was well priced and delicious. Would recommend stopping in here when you visit Covent Garden.

On a visit to London as I’ve come from America to stay with my boyfriends family, we luckily came across this spot A full English breakfast was £5.50 and an add on was £0.80. Out of all the places we have gone, this is the most affordable and the food is great. It’s a small and humble spot. With the construction going on around here you could miss it if you don’t look a bit carefully. It seems that locals and workers come here during their breaks. The workers are very kind and the service is extremely quick. The food was delicious! If I ever come back to London I will be back :)

My partner and I love a good English breakfast, and this was far and away our favorite. £5.50 for a VERY large plate of beans, bacon, sausage, eggs to order, and toast, all delicious. Add-ons are a humble £0.80 more, but they won’t squeeze you with extra charges for things like jam. As eggs don’t sit well in my stomach, the staff happily substituted(delicious) mushrooms at no cost. Perhaps you can find a better English breakfast around – but in this outrageously-priced town you won’t even come close to this value!

Total hole-in-the-wall where you can get a decent full English breakfast complete with coffee or tea for 5 pounds. That’s really all I have to say.

Masters Diner at Covent Garden is almost hidden, practically sharing a storefront with a newsagent and squeezing their doors side-by-side. My friend and I were sat down by friendly staff, and picked up our menu from the side of the table, diner-style. The place serves burgers, club sandwiches, ciabatta, breakfast food, jacket potatoes, dessert cakes and pies, coffee, chocolate — the sort of food one would encounter fifty percent of the time in this country among eating places. I ordered a Covent Garden Club sandwich, which was a toothpick-reinforced double-decker sandwich with regular white(rather flattened) toast, filled with lettuce, melted cheese, beef slices, mushrooms, mustard and mayonnaise. And not to forget the random topping of alfalfa sprouts on the top. I’m not particularly fond of mustard, so I quite regretted getting this sandwich. The sandwich, which was warm and fresh, fell apart annoyingly easily like any other club sandwich. I rejoice when biting into burgers and sandwiches without accidentally pulling out all the filling with my teeth, so the tougher beef slices did not work well here. The amount of meat and veggies were pretty generous, which my hungry stomach was very grateful for. Master’s Diner is obviously not somewhere you would travel halfway across the country for, but is definitely a life-saver if you’re looking for a cheap, reliable eating place which serves a wide variety of hearty meals in the heart of Covent Garden.

I had a very pleasant moment there… Ordered the breakfast set menu(for 5£ only) and received a big plate, by far enough for my sole person! The place is very small, 5 or 6 tables, so I was happy to invite three gentlemen having the break there, to share my table. We all spent a good time chatting and enjoying this cheap but good english breakfast! :-) If you want a cheap but good and full english breakfast, it worths your visit! :-) Seb Delcampe,

Ultimate local«hole in the wall.» My favorite English breakfast in London. A lot of food for a very cheap price(full breakfasts for around £5) and great coffee. If you want simple, tasty food, this place does not disappoint.

When I’m in London I always go here for breakfast. It’s a small place, sometimes rather busy, that must be a good sign :-) Friendly staff, prompt service, good food, all for a very reasonable price.

I love a good greasy spoon and this area of London is scattered with them. From the tourist traps to the filthy cabbie joints there is quite a selection, but I have to say that this one is a dream. Cheap food, friendly service and a wonderfully warm atmosphere. They make just what you ask for(if they have all the ingredients that is!) and don’t sneer at my crazy sandwich combinations, they have amazing looking cakes and a very clean looking kitchen. Another great shopping pit stop or even a nice place to escape from covent garden with some good cake and a good book. Wonderful, just wonderful!

Yet another fabulous sandwich bar in Covent Garden. CG seems to be the hot spot for grabbing a sexy sandwich. This time the Leon-o-meter picked out a tasty chicken escalope, mozzarella and sun dried tomato bad boy ciabatta. YEAH! It was good. Would I have rubbed it into my body?(Check past food reviews) Maybe not, but it was still a good sandwich. Masters also rustles up good hot meals, has an attractive cake selection and a nice environment to boot. Yet another venue that makes it into the Premier League of sandwich bars.
