Last time I went to McDonalds here, they wouldn’t let me have a balloon because they said I was too old. I’d really like to know how they made this abomination of a decision. I refuse to believe it is company policy, for example. I think they were just being unreasonable.

I don’t go to McDonald’s regularly but when I went here last, which was about 3 4 months ago, I enjoyed the food but the service could have been a bit quicker. Was happy with the meal though!

It’s a 4-​star McDonald’s.
Plus points:

2. Fairly quick and efficient
3. Plenty of parking
4. High throughput of customers so food is always warm
Minus points:
1. It’s McDonald’s.
But you don’t go to McDonald’s looking for gourmet food. It would get 5 stars, were it not for drive-​thru KFC adjacent to it!

This is a very quiet McDonalds located near the Gallions Reach Retail Park. They do get busy during lunch hours but there are always tables available for everyone. The parking is mainly in the retail park and you can then take a short walk from there. It is all paved really nicely and there are pedetrian crossings everywhere. Compared to our local McDonalds in Ilford and this one, there is a huge different. I found a big difference in the taste of food here. It had been cooked well and is always hot. the staff also very polite and friendly and we like it here.
