*This review is only for delivery* I order delivery from here at least once a month and it always comes fairly quickly(within an hour) and it piping hot. I am a little surprised at some of the negative reviews on here, as I have had nothing but good experiences. It must be different in the actual restaurant. My normal go to is phở, surprise surprise! It comes with all the usual fixings and you can create your soup however you’d like it. I like mine extra spicy and I always ask for more of their home made chili sauce, you MUST specify the home made stuff or they just give you a little thing of store bought sauce. For delivery they do charge a small delivery fee and they have a min order amount. I also think they only do delivery within a certain range so if you live farther out it might not be an option for you.

After reading the reviews, we thought we checked it out for ourselves. If you enjoy or love good Vietnamese food, then please give this place a miss. Firstly, service was poor and extremely slow. Restaurant wasn’t full but we waited for half an hour before the first dish arrived. We ordered their classic phở with beef. It was chilli hot. We love birds eye chillies served on the side but not swimming in the soup. It also lacked the depth and richness in the broth. The waitress recommended sizzling beef. It was tough but the dish was bulked up with onions, carrots and green peppers and very little beef. Same with the salad. We ordered the prawns and lotus root which was lacking in both taste and prawns. Chicken satay is always grilled but theirs were clearly deep fried in a skewer served in highly questionable peanut sauce. I am sure they serve some authentic Vietnamese dishes but certainly what the waitress recommended fell short of expectation. There were some good reviews but unfortunately they were not recent. It is expensive for what they serve.

I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Whilst the prices are a bit high for takeaway, for dining in it is reasonable. The service can be a little slow at time but the food its always hot and fresh. The Chili and lemongrass chicken is a firm favorite and the summer rolls are spot on.

Not bad for a quick meal. Simple Vietnamese food. Perfect place for a hot chicken noodle soup when is cold and rainy outside. Peanut sauce with summer rolls is delicious.

Somewhere between the flashy facades of Thai Square and the dingy, smokey meat pit heaven of Bodeans there is this little, unassuming Vietnamese restaurant. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable(with excellent early evening and lunch deals) and the food is absolutely superb. Delicious summer rolls, perfectly fried soft shell crab with a punchy sauce to accompany and an unusual yet wonderful caramelised pork dish — everything I tried hit the spot. I will definitely be returning.

We’ve been on a phở kick lately, so my boyfriend and I grabbed dinner here on the way out of town. Nearly every patron in the restaurant was Asian, which we took as a good sign. Our waitress was super friendly and perky, which we weren’t expecting since the restaurant itself has a super hushed and quiet feel to it. They do serve a bit of alcohol, only wine and beer I think. I got the special Phở and my boyfriend got the special Bun Hue, which is a spicy broth. The phở was all right, but the broth didn’t have the complexity I was hoping for. We both preferred the phở we’d had the previous day at Phở Café. However, everything did taste fresh and the soup was hot and satisfying. It’s a fine choice if you’re in the area but not worth going out of the way for if you are keen for Vietnamese.

I think I came here years ago and didn’t think it was very good but glad I went back recently. The service is a little patchy so don’t be shy to wave your arms around to order food — or to get a jug of water. I had the salt and pepper aubergines which were HUGE. I would expect the other ingredients to come out the same way — deep fried topped off with some veg and lotsa garlic. It was really good. For my main, I had the Bun Xa with chicken and it was delicious! All the ingredients tasted fresh and full of flavor. I threw that entire chili fish sauce into my bowl. and wish I had a little more. I definitely want to go back and try other stuff because the restaurant smelled so good — maybe the stir fried stuff next time. It was the perfect meal after a tough yoga class at Dance Attic. ** quick update ** I’d eat here every week if I could. Really loved the roll your own pastry with grilled mince pork and herbs. Tasted really authentic and reminded me of what I had in HCMC years ago. The Grilled Tiger Prawns with mango salad — delicious and pretty healthy. Try it!

Traditional vietnamese family cooking in a local family restaurant. Tasty and good value, MeMe’s is a Fulham favourite with plenty of regular customers who keep going back.

blink and you’ll miss it and that would be such an oversight! lucky for me my lunch companion has a beedy eye for Vietnamese food and not to mention a love for it. anyway the establishment is café style, clean and simple décor. the food was delicious, bursting with beautiful light and fragrant flavour after flavour. i started with prawn summer rolls followed by a vermacelli noodle dish lased with onion, cucumber, peanut, prawns and squid. pure joy in my mouth. To top it all, it is inexpensive. i will be returning.

The food served here isn’t worth the price they’re asking for, it’s really expensive actually and half of the menu is actually traditional Chinese cuisine rather than Vietnamese, but the restaurant has improved slightly under new ownership, the toilets are more hygienic for one, and the staff is friendlier too. Still, it’s worth walking down Fulham Road for a minute or two, towards Chelsea Football ground, for a better dining experience.

For the past 18 months, we’ve been coming here 1−2x per week. Lovely little place, really friendly. Great food. Try the pork kho caramelised pork with duck egg. Reallllly good. The usual suspects, phở/summer rolls etc are all great and they have a decent selection of vietnamese beers too. Winner.

Chanced upon this restaurant walking through fulham. We ordered fried tilapia fish with fish sauce and mango, along with rice and morning glory vegetables. The ingredients seemed to be low quality and this showed in the dishes. The meagre amount of white fish that we could find on the tilapia was grilled into oblivion, the morning glory was bland and lacking flavour, and even the egg fried rice was overdone I’ve had exactly the same meal in many other Vietnamese restaurants and they were all done so much better than this. We came out with a bill that twice as much as the food should be worth, and hungry bellies filled with dissatisfation. Also: The mens toilets had no working tap and a note simply said to use the one inside the ladies. Not very hygeinic at all.

Loved how fresh the food was. We had the summer rolls, phở & bun xa which were all great, altough the bun xa serving was rather small compared to the portions you get on East End’s Kingsland Road. Service was a little rude on the phone and as well as in the restaurant plus they add an almost 12% service charge to the bill which I think is a bit steep for a little neighbourhood eatery like this. But that said, the prices are reasonable. Try if if you’re in the area but don’t travel to Fulham for it.

Might only be 4 stars, but I feel obligated to balance out the other unfairly critical reviews here. This is really good and reasonably affordable Vietnamese food, with the best phở I’ve had in London. If you’re an ex-pat from California(and if you’re using Unilocal then there’s a good chance that you are) then this will help cure your Southeast Asian food cravings. The prices are the same as what you’d expect to find in SF or LA… only in GBP instead of USD.

The earlier reviewer, Jiak, must have had a bad day or been on a(very unusal) bad day in the kitchen. I’m a foodie, love cooking and love vietnamese food. Have travelled in vietnam twice, and often trapse across london to Kingsland Road to eat at the Vietnamese restaurants there. The owner/head chef at Me Me use to run the kitchens in my favourtie Vietnamese restaurant in Kingsland road and he is passionate(to the point of perfection) about food and ingredients. I eat at Me Me 2 – 3 times/week for the last 18 months or so. The food is freshly prepared, clean tasting and delicious. No short cuts here. The stock for the Phở’s is made from scratch daily, all herbs are deliciously green, fresh and authentic(not just lazy old supermarket coriander. Thai parsely anyone?). All restaurants have good moments and bad moments. I urge the 1 star reviewer, Jiak, to try Me Me again and she won’t be disappointed. To anyone else who’s considering it — you will not be disappointed as long as you’re there for the food. The surroundings don’t pretend to be anything other than a clean simple restaurant. The food is delicious and the owners are very friendly and fun.

Was looking for Vietnamese food in the area and stumbled upon this restaurant. My husband and I decided to give it a try — ordered the beef noodles(phở) and vermicelli rice noodle salad(bun). Oh boy, when the food arrived we almost cried. We have eaten at other Vietnamese restaurants and know what Vietnamese food is. The beef noodle was tasteless and could only find two slices of beef in the noodle; whilst the vermicelli rice noodle salad was way too dry. As this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in the area, I guess without competition, that explains the standard of food that they serve and the reason whey they are still standing in the area. If you have no choice, eat at this restaurant. Otherwise flee and go somewhere else.

Ate here with gf and a couple of friends and wasn’t very impressed. The menu is large, but the food is ordinary and while it isn’t expensive, it still feels over-priced for some reason. Although it claims to be Vietnamese, the menu is full of dishes you’d find in any Chinese restaurant and only the Vietnamese noodle dishes seem particularly interesting — we had the sugar cane wrapped prawns and the beef versions, but both were very plain and both were 80% noodle. The spring rolls were also a bit average. The hot and sour soup was very good, however, and quite different from the standard restaurant version. Service was fine, toilets were not. The location will be handy for some(right by Fulham Broadway tube), but I won’t be rushing back.

Yay I’m a fan. can’t believe nobody else has reviewed this little gem at 565 Fulham Road just across from Fulham Broadway. which is the nearest tube. We popped in prior to going to Vue Cinema at Fulham Broadway. so treat yourself to both. Arrived at 7.00pm on this Thursday evening and it was half full but by 8.00pm there wasn’t a seat to be had. So stated with Vegetarian Spring Rolls and deep fried squid in corn starch. both very good… to follow went for the Goi shredded crunchy vegetables in classic vinaigrette dressing with duck topping… just brilliant tons of duck and a real boy’s salad !! Keri had the Phở flat rice noodle in a light soup with chicken .this was great and fab value at £4.50 !!! So give it a go.cinema.vietnamese grub and park the car in the underground car park at Fulham Broadway and you won’t even get wet ! ENJOY
