I’m giving this hotel three stars, primarily for the location. The service at the hotel was actually pretty good, but the did try to up sell the room and forgot that our rate included wifi and tried to have us pay when we checked in. When I asked they realized their mistake and were apologetic. The rooms are small and a bit worn, but do have some modern touches like flat screen TVs. In spite of being worn, everything was clean. I did have a problem with the electrical outlet(it was pretty worn out because nothing would stay plugged in) in my bathroom and they changed the whole assembly while I was out. The location was fantastic for the rate and hotel was reasonably quiet. I had a room overlooking the driveway and there was a garbage truck or something making noise one morning, so maybe I’d see if there was a quieter area. I’m not sure if rooms facing the street out front are going t be any quieter. It is city after all and the location of the hotel is in a very central location. Next time I’m in London, I’d consider staying here again.

Early check-in but not — waited two hours after night flight after being assured only half hour wait. they actually said«oh we forgot about you» Rooms were worn out — furniture was all scraped up and I was in a club room… the capper was I left I shirt in the closet when I checked out and called the next day — they said nothing was found in the room… shabby. The restuarant was good though as was the Pine Bar. I usually stay at the Churchill a much better hotel.

The service was good, but the front desk was pushy to upsell the room. The rooms are old, the wifi was spotty, you can’t open the windows, limited light in the batthroom, some of the power plugs didn’t work, etc… I won’t go back unless I absolutely have to.
