I stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat with some friends. One didn’t want Spanish, the other didn’t want Italian so we came here instead. It was clean, well lit and it looked nice. The food on the other hand wasn’t so great. :/I found the staff quite rude and somewhat racist. When I asked where the toilet was the manager screamed at me. Every black person that came into the restaurant the staff would make little remarks(I know because we had a Japanese friend with us) and screw up their faces as though we were not welcome in there. I didn’t feel comfortable at all. I won’t be going back there unless I really have to.

Lame, boring with no reason to be on Upper Street. There are some excellent eateries around here, but this ain’t one of ‘em. I made the mistake of eating here months ago and still wonder why. I mean, honestly, there’s nothing terrible about the place. Well, actually, the service was at a snail’s place and the table was rather dirty. But food was okay. Of course, with so many other options nearby, why bother?

This is an excellent and reasonable little eaterie tucked away in the heart of trendy Islington. Great table service, clean and bright décor, excellent presentation and top notch ingredients make this a great destination for lunch with your partner or dinner with friends. Frequent special offers and fairly reasonable drinks prices combined with great tasting food cooked speedily and with authentic flavour make Miso, in my opinion a must do destination on my top places to eat out in London list.
