I am flabbergasted by the positive reviews. The Phở is the least impressive I’ve had in London. Lots of the food is quite ripe or microwave heated. Worst of all the service is appalling. The young woman was very discourteous. Never again.

The place: very small and intimate with bright green walls and a huge board above the kitchen with the menu written on it. It’s byob with a £1.50 corkage charge(not too bad, just bring a big bottle to share) The service: The waitress extremely friendly and attentive without hovering over you, and there was no feeling of being rushed. The food came out quick and hot with the rare steak in the phở still nice and red and raw in the center. The food: I got the phở bo tai or rare beef phở and the broth they have is perfect. Absolutely clean and clear but full of a lot of flavor. The steak is really tender even after cooking in the soup for many minutes. They use wide noodles that are easy to pick up with chop sticks. On the side they give you lemon, bean sprouts, and chiles(they are very hot so careful if you don’t do spicy). They only thing I didn’t care for was the siracha which was thin and vinegary. It is reminiscent to crystals Louisiana hot sauce rather than siracha. Overall though, an excellent place to get out of the damp and work your bones with some great soup. I will be back to try some of the other dishes they offer! Also, be sure to bring cash as they aren’t accepting credit cards right now!

Really tasty food but not enough condiments with the take out. Ingredients taste fresh and the prices are reasonable.

The food is insane. This is Vietnamese food at its finest. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, but it makes the the whole experience even more exciting and intimate. I ordered the special rolls to start and the special Phở which was amazing. There could be a bit more variety when it comes to the additions to put in the Phở like some Thai basil, but it doesn’t detract from the amazing food and flavours. The service is a bit slow at busy periods but it’s well worth the wait. The pricing is also very good and makes going out for a local meal even more attractive. Get down there and enjoy yourselves. NB: As the restaurant is quite small, you may have to wait until you get a table.

Great little Vietnamese restaurant! Yes, it’s incredibly twee with only a few tables and elbows are almost touching the diner on the next table, but the food is delicious, the service is courteous and the prices are reasonable. Go!
