£7 for crispy grilled seas bass, salad, morrocan rice, chips, bread and a drink. Can’t complain especially when it’s also yum! It also comes with a pot of spicy ‘tomato sauce’ which goes really well with everything on the enormous plate. This stall is normally rammed on a Saturday afternoon when the markets are in full swing. We went back on a leisurely afternoon off on a Tuesday and got ourselves a stool to sit but noted that business was just as steady on a weekday. Cars even pulled up to place orders, creating a makeshift drive through! Definitely be back to try the prawns next time!

Holy sh… just got back from eating the Sea bass, with rice, fries, tomato salad and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing! So simple, sterling fresh whole sea bass, grilled with an olive oil, sea salt, garlic, parsley coating… until brown and crispy… PERFECT execution on cooking, great street food ambiance… we loved it.

Nothing fancy at all about this popular fish stall in the shadow of the Trellick Tower in North Kensington. It’s extremely popular as it served fresh grilled fish with salad and chips. Nothing else, no meat or vegetarian dishes. I ordered the sardines simply grilled with morrocan seasoning served with bread, salad, chips and hairira. It was spicy but not too much for my tender taste buds. There are a few tables which are shared but you are not encouraged to linger with your meal. Be careful where you sit as I had my back to the grill and got a few hot splashes. Afterwards I strolled to Meanwhile Gardens next to the Trellick Tower, where they had a lovely Morrocan style garden to relax in. Quite appropriate as this area is known as Little Morrocco.
