My mother and brother-in law went lamb crazy on our trip, and out of all the lamb they ate anywhere, the lamb chops here were their favorite. I loved the lamb kebab a lot, but didn’t dare try to take a chop from the fiends. The chicken kebabs were delicious, also, well marinated and perfectly cooked. The person who recommended Naama’said that her favorite was the splayed chicken, which I still regret not trying(this trip). The hummus was fantastic. The Fatoush was really good. The hallow I wrap was great. I’d never had halloumi, but I’ll eat anything if you wrap it with pickles and hummus. We also had a sausage wrap– the sausage, lamb, of course, was a little spicy, falafel were crisp. it delicious. Everyone was so quiet eating and sorta, grunting, instead of talking. We got food to go, but there’s a teeny eating area. They didn’t haventabouoeh or pizzas when I ordered, but they made up for everything with their meat. They were super nice. That meat will haunt my memory for a long time; it was so transcendent.

This is my kind of place: unpretentious, a little run-down interior, but good food! The perfect place to experience some Lebanese food to take away … This little store functions as a take-away grill, butcher and grocer for Middle-Eastern products. I went for the lamb koufta wrap, which came highly recommended by a friend of mine. And indeed, it was a solid 4 stars experience: the meat was perfectly grilled right in front of my eyes and then coated with the typical stuff: hummus, various kinds of pickled and fresh vegetables, hot sauce and one particular sauce, which I couldn’t quite make out what it was… looked like curdled yoghurt to me, but whatever it was, it gave my wrap a nice succulent taste! Being situated on Uxbridge Road, which is also known for having the highest fried-chicken store density in London, I am glad to report that Naama positively stands out from its fried-up neighbours…
