I just walked from Paddington to get me a box. Reminds me of the time I use to work in the big smoke.

Um, wow… I didn’t realize that takeout cartons were a novelty… The things we take for granted…
The noodles here are okay, but I have to ask them to put less sauce on because it gets too gunky and salty. I like the sesame prawn toast (is that actually a Chinese food?) although they are kind of pricy.
Sometimes the place smells funny.

It was my first food in London and it was very disappointing. It was like eating overcooked noodles in a lot of soy sauce. I couldn’t eat it and had to go somewhere else.

Great place for a quick easy feed.
I go here regularly when I can’t be bothered cooking. decent, filling feed and tgey deliver if you can’t be bothered getting off the couch into the snow.
Try the malaysian beef with rice noodles.

OMG! I finally found tasty treats in London!
My husband and I were walking down the street tonight trying to figure out what to eat for dinner and we came upon this wonderful little gem in Notting Hill!
You can’t go wrong with noodles! Especially tasty noodles!
The customer service was very good and the atmosphere was very nice and clean.
We got the Set Menu B: (Couples Menu) which consists of your choice of drink for 2, 1 bag of prawn crackers (which are oh so good and salted perfectly), 1 box of Spring Rolls, and any two boxes from the main menu. We chose the Chicken Yakisoba with Udon noodles & the Spicy Beef Thai (perfect spiciness) with Vermicelli noodles. Both of these dishes were so full of flavor my mouth was doing the Happy Dance!

Like the concept but was disappointed by the the product. Noodles tasted like they’d been microwaved… Bland and small portions.

Went there today and had the Vegetable Stir Fry noodle box for £4.95. The service was very quick; I only had to wait a few minutes before my order came. The size is also very nice. I was quite full after a box of those!
I have to say though that the flavour is just okay. Nothing too special, just like any other Chinese takeaway service I’ve been to. I’ll give it another chance since there’s another vegetarian box I’d like to try, but not before trying the plentiful amount of Chinese restaurants on Queensway, which is only a few minutes walk away.

I first found out about Neds from seeing one of their colourful delivery motorcycles parked up in Notting Hill Gate.
I found the main shop halfway down Westbourne Grove. There is a choice of around 15 types of noodles, both fried and in soup. The influences are all oriental. The Singapore noodles were quite bland for my palate.
A nice touch are the cute American style take-​out boxes.

Neds Noodle Bar is a small noodle bar on Westbourne Grove. It has a rather smart fast food appearance. You can eat in and take away. I got mine delivered.
I ordered with my sister and her boyfriend. We went for the awkwardly named ‘threesome’ which includes three boxes of noodles (the noodles come in those cool US sitcom style cartons), prawn crackers, ribs and spring rolls. We also got the calamari starter. The starters were all pretty well done; not too greasy. For my main I got the chicken yakisoba with udon noodles. The noodles were well cooked, the chicken was alright and the sauce was pretty tasty. The dish was very filling.

Loved the concept, tried it once. Wouldn’t really go back again to be honest. It’s all noodles and more noodles. Good idea and concept but perhaps more variety and more authentic food would have been a plus for me. But definitely worth a try.

Sitting in the small corner restaurant is a nice, very casual experience, sipping on a coke or Asahi beer, noodles out of the box, Prawn crackers with Sirachi sauce, and then an Ice Cream
Neds Noodle bar on Westbourne Grove, (there is also a second one of these on Belveder Road), serves all sorts of noodles in the authentic New York movie China Food takeaway boxes. This is already a reason to go there. They also do home delivery.
Before we moved out of Neds Noodle delivery radius, we had this at least twice a week. Sometimes the noodles arrived better, sometimes less. But in general, for the price, very very yummy.
When ordering the noodles you can choose between Udon, Egg or Rice noodle. My favorite flavors are roast pork, roast duck and sometimes the sweet and sour version.
