There isn’t a lot of Chinese/Chinese fusion restaurants in the area so this one is alright. They seem to get a lot more business during the lunch hours and the service is just your average ma&pa style. I would come here with friends for a bite but not a date. Try the MiGoreng, as it’s rather delicious. We also ordered the rib and noodle soup, but found this ribs a bit dry. Would have loved to have some fried dumplings, but they forgot to cook them and we were full… so I can’t really comment on that. They do have some cute and lovely decorations and it does remind you of sitting in a Chinese diner back in Hong Kong.

Tried the noodles here today. Get the Singapore noodles! They were well seasoned. The Nasi Goreng fried rice though wasn’t as flavorful. Other diners seemed to like their food too so maybe it was a hit or miss. Also try the watermelon juice. It was super refreshing. Good spot for a quick and tasty lunch. If you’re by Buckingham Palace and craving noodles come here.

This place has been a solid no frills favourite for a good few years. My office used to be based around the corner from here and many a time we have been here for lunch. I have been in here with friends too. It is always busy and there is no booking of tables; you rock up, stand to be seated and off to go. The menu has a very good selection of all noodle dishes and soups. Bold and distinctive flavours, great standard and mostly south east Asian. None of us ever have the same dish as each other, but the comments are resoundingly positive. I’ve not had a bad lunch here yet. As for the prices, you won’t find better around here. It is literally the road next to Victoria station so great if you have limited time and want something decent to eat rather than concourse food from the station. Service is quick(but not flowery so don’t expect a gushing waitress!), food is good, not much more to add :) Strongly advise you go here for lunch if near Victoria.

A solid three-star+ venue. This place seems to do a busy trade during the work-week lunch hour. But there are lots of seats and turnover is relatively quick, so even if it’s full you shouldn’t need to wait long to sit down. The service is adequate but unmemorable. The food is pretty darn good in terms of value. It’s tasty, the servings are fairly large, most entrees are under £6−7. Definitely a good spot to go have a meal if you work in the Victoria area.

Food is better than average — my beef(uhum.) is with the service. The server was very nice, but would not provide any recommendations. I begged and pleaded and could not get past«…It depends what you want…» I want some recommendations! If you don’t cater to tourists, at the end of Westminster Bridge, you should! Have a special, let me have a culinary experience. When I ask for a recommendation as to what drink I should order to support the meal, help me! Stand-up fast food is where you have it ‘your way’. Sit down dinning at $ 20.00 a person should include the option for a tied-together chef-designed dining experience!

Very delicious! The service is good. The atmosphere is good. And especially the spring rolls taste very good.

WORST place ever! Seriously, save yourself and go elsewhere! I would not recommend eating here(unless perhaps you happen to be a gastro-masochist who enjoys water + MSG, in which case, go right ahead!) My first reaction to the beef noodles was«where are the noodles»? The veggies were too undercooked to eat, the noodles were nearly nonexistent. The noodle soup was tasteless and literally water + MSG. The kitchen area looked dirty… They charge for EVERYTHING. I plugged in my dying phone for 15 minutes and was told I must pay £1. At the end, they added another charge for tap water, like«Surprise! We charged you again!». Like the other reviews mentioned, the dishonesty and rudeness is really off-putting. The service is fast but horrible– the server was an angry rude lady who made me so uncomfortable, I wanted to leave immediately(although to be fair, the other waitress seemed nice). I’m not a picky customer, and rarely write reviews but was just so pissed off by this place. Don’t be fooled by the rating, it is NOT worth it!

Cheap and cheerful noodles. I chose a Thai chicken noodle soup. It had noodles and chicken in but I couldn’t taste anything other than the overpowering lemon juice from the 2 massive halves of lemon. Also spent most of the time picking out one of the thousands of bits of lemongrass hiding amongst the noodles. £9.55 with a coke.

The food is OK. The noodle is really just fast noodle. But we had a bad experience with the waiter. When the bill came, the charge included an item«SC». When I asked if this is «Service Charge», he said no and indicated I should give tips, which I did. However later on I did some more research and realized«SC» *is* indeed service charge. I don’t mind to give a few more pounds for good service. But the dishonesty puts me off.

I’ve been here twice — got the Singapore noodles and the char siu noodle soup, both 5.95 and for take-away. It’s bustling and loud at lunchtime so I’m kind of glad I get things to take away and call ahead since there’s not really a convenient place to stand. It’s pretty fast and the food was solid both times — the Singapore noodles were nicely spiced. I got it with chicken and unlike the weird pieces of what is allegedly chicken that you sometimes get with inexpensive Chinese takeout, this place had nice tender strips of chicken. The noodle soup had a clear broth that was very flavorful and was full of char siu and veggies, in addition to the noodles. Watch out for the chili sauce — it’s no joke! The only weird thing was when I ordered the Singapore noodles(which comes with prawn, fish cake, and pork as the proteins) and tried to switch the prawn and pork for chicken since I don’t eat either, they wanted to charge me extra. However, they said if I got rid of the fish cake too and went with all chicken, then it was no extra charge. Not sure why they were funny about it, and it was fine, but I always find it a bit annoying when restaurants are inflexible over easy substitutions. I also hear they charge you for ordering tap water if you eat in, but since I haven’t done that I can’t say for sure.

Without a doubt the worst noodle soup I’ve eaten anywhere in the UK. The broth was utterly tasteless no hint of heat, spicing or seasoning. I regularly get though several massive bowls of Phở but I struggled to eat even half of this despite being utterly starving. My girlfriend went for what was marketed as pad thai but was a completely unrecognisable lump of overcooked crap. We were very relieved we didn’t order starters. Service was okay and prices average(but obviously not worth it) but then they had the cheek to ask for another tip after including a service charge without informing us. And tap water was an additional 40p. I’d never usually recommend a chain but go anywhere but here.

Yay for a noodle place in london! I was pretty excited when I saw this after a buttload of Italian restaurants. Good thing I let them pass for this asian goodness. I got the noodle soup with duck(idk exact name). It was better than I thought it’d be. Ample amount of duck meat, solid soup base, veggies, and noodles(probably from instant ramen noodles lol). There are multiple noodles to choose from though. My friend got the duck rice(idk exact name). Literally duck meat with rice. Ample amount of meat again, not sure about the rice and everything else. He said it was pretty good for the price. HOTDAMN. is how I felt after putting in a couple spoonfuls of hot sauce at this place. Apparently, this shiz is flippin hot. Some kind of a chili extract perhaps? But spicier than sriracha fosho. Beware. All in all, good priced meal for 8 pounds(tip & water included). Next time I’ll try a rice dish. Kinda sucks we have to pay for tap water & service charge though.

I’m definitely a fan of this place: generous servings of freshly cooked noodles for a fiver, pleasant décor and efficient, friendly staff. I’ve yet to be disappointed.

Solidly good, fresh noodles cooked for you at lunchtime. Unless you go for the Big Noodle Chain(which is fine, you know, but only ever fine) It’s surprisingly difficult to find tasty reasonably-priced chinese noodles(not Thai or Japanese). Noodle Noodle comes up with the goods pretty much every time. Fast, cheapish, good. The only weird thing is the fire in the back room. Without it, it’d be a nice little bolthole with a pretty little waterfall thing out of the big window away from the draft from the front door. With it it’s airless and you get burnt on one side of your face, and none of the waiting staff seem to know how to turn it off. Don’t let this put you off and drive you towards the nearby Victoria Station for your lunch, just get a seat in the front.

Avoid the nasi goreng — not the real thing. What arrived was a fried rice of sort, poor in execution and ingredients not fresh. The prawns tasted off.

Sometimes when you need a ramen fix you’ll try anything, even Noodle Noodle. I’ve read some pretty terrible reviews of this place here and there, so I was pretty surprised at how solidly decent it was. They serve all types of… noodles, duh. Mostly of the Chinese variety but they also have some Thai and Japanese-styled dishes. Portions were huge, ramen was okay and service was fast fast fast. Solid 3.5 stars but I’m rounding up because that’s the kind of gal I am.

You always know whatv you’re going to get at Noodle Noodle — most people find a favourite and stick with it. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. A good thing too as the staff are never particularly helpful. And God help you if you decide not to leave a tip!

If you’re after a simple Oriental lunch or dinner in Victoria, then Noodle Noodle fits the bill. The restaurant’s sterile decoration doesn’t encourage you to linger overlong and the food is not outstanding — it serves the usual range of soup noodles and rice dishes. But it’s quick, simple, comparatively cheap for the area and the gyoza are definitely better than Wagamama’s!
