I went looking for a replacement sim card for my new phone and left empty handed because of two reasons: 1 — Very bad customer service. Rude staff that didn’t really care about your needs. They were just like ‘no, we don’t have it’ and went to the next customer that got almost the same answer. I can understand it was Sunday afternoon, but still no excuses to be rude! 2 — I know this one is not completely their fault, but they didn’t have any left at all. Also it was very crowded and the service(what service?) was really, really, really, slow…

Just regret i can’t give negative stars. Overly complex, slow, supremely unfriendly store manager…

Absolutely awful customer service. Went to the other Oxford store to buy dongles, they were out but said they would call other store on Oxford. The other store had them. It was 7:40 and the girl said store was five minutes away and we’d be fine. Just incase we ran and got there with 14 minutes to spare. Waited in line for ten minutes and when we got to cashier he first assumed(because I’m American I’m sure) I didn’t have debit and said I couldn’t do it. I said I did, them he backtracked and said he didn’t have time to sell us it and showed us a clock that was six minutes until eight. We walked across the street to Vodafone who was closing its gates and they still took us and let us buy two doggles. A little more expensive… but I they realiZed it would only take a minute and were happy to take my money. O2… lost a lot of business.

O2’s première London shop is about the only one in the country that has a stock of PAYG IPhone 4s. It’s swish and clean in the way that all O2s stores and has three floors although only the ground floor is of any interest to customers, which stretch from the counters at the back of the shop to the door on the street wishing away the next half hour of their lives it will take to get served. O2 have really dine a fine job copying the post office or bank model here with only half of the staff necessary to populate the counters and an endless stream of disenchanted, unhappy customers. During my time waiting here two people behind me in the queue, met, got engaged and had kids that went on to lead fruitful lives digging wells in Africa. Go, but only if you have to.
