Paper and Cup is a really solid local café. A lot of people were getting food around lunch time– it looked good but I can’t say for sure. I was definitely tempted by the pastries. Coffee was good, but not amazing. I only gave it 4 stars because the atmosphere is a little odd – it’s located in a lobby of a building so the music is kept low and its rather quiet on off hours. There is also an odd glass meeting room in the center of the room– great if you need a meeting room for a group, but it splits up the space a little awkwardly. As a plus there is a cute garden in the back where you can sit at a few tables, and there are also tables located on the street out front.

Even though it is a non profit organisation, the breakfast was expensive — it arrived cold, egg was part raw(undercooked), sausage was tough, the toast was cold and the size of it was tiny. The café down the road gives a sizeable portion cooked correctly with a drink & a smile for less. The coffee was very bitter and not smooth. Staff had a clear attitude problem & I certainly don’t like being spoken to in a stroppy way when not having actually provoked anybody Would not go back again — suggest to avoid this place as service & food are appalling. This was the Bow branch

The coffeeshop shares an entrance with the community centre, when you walk in ignore the receptionists who will give you that«what are you doing here look», walk to directly to the left– awaits you an amazing coffeeshop!!! Very friendly staff.

I was very excited to find this cute little place. My neighbourhood seems bereft of coffee shops, so the fact that this one is close and lovely is wonderful. Coffee is served alongside a variety of home-made goodies, and it looked like the kitchen was also equipped to make more substantial food items — though none seemed to be available while i was there. There are also bookcases ringing the shop with used paperbacks and hardbacks for sale for 1 and 3 pounds, respectively. Definitely a nice place to grab a cuppa, relax and browse.

Absolutely adorable coffee shop! I went in to have a latte and slice of cake but, I ended up sitting in one of the couches to read a book they provided. I had a lovely morning, the baristas were very friendly.
