Super delicious! Their buns are fresh, soft but semi crunchy, and they’re just the right amount of sweet! They also have a touch of butter inside to add to it’s unique taste. I ordered my first bun with a nutella topping, but honestly, it’s better as-is. The price per bun is a bit high but you’ll be satisfied once you take a bite!

Not sure why the bun came with a fork and knife. They were so good, I just grabbed and wolfed them down.

These buns should be illegal. Why ? Because they’re fresh, they’re affordable and they taste amazing. Value for money — yes. Service with a smile — yes. Authentic Taste — absolutely. Would I eat here again — in a heartbeat. So pleased to have stumbled across this unique offering direct out of Malaysia. I knew I was onto a good thing when I couldn’t stop at one. At £2.5 pounds a pop it’s a meal in itself. They also sell wonderful Tarak — spiced milk Moroccan tea. Friendly staff and high table seating it’s a great place to pit stop your busy day. My sugar cravings couldn’t be more satisfied.

Any experienced Unilocaler’s fine-tuned hunting instincts for new businesses in their local area will trigger an alert when they see a new place opening My alert mechanism went off as I walked down Bayswater this weekend. I was a little distressed to find out that I hadn’t heard of Pappa Roti, an international chain with its parent company originating in my native Malaysia The whole business is based round their signature buns, which the shop offers with a selection of beverages. They have to be pretty good buns to be able to build a business around them I ordered one to take away and the servers advised me to warm it up in a 180 degree Celsius oven for 3 to 4 minutes to make it perfect for consumption At first glance, it looks just like a regular crusty bun but biting through the crispy outer later reveals a sweet caramelly flavour to this crust and for me, this was the USP(unique selling point) of the bun. The inside is light and fluffy and they’ve also put butter into the middle of the bun which then melts with the heaing up process. It is a nice bun but a little pricey at £2 each to take away A nice addition to the food scene in Queensway
