A haven for dog walkers in Victoria Park. this café welcomes dogs(with a few rules for indoors including no barking, must be on lead etc.) and always has fresh water bowls for them outside. there is seating inside and out, and they serve a range of hot and cold beverages as well as snacks and meals. The coffee is reasonable, pastries tasty, and toasties a welcome snack. The full English wasn’t to my taste but for 8 quid including a cup of tea or coffee it did the job. The only downside, as a female dog owner, is that the toilets in the hub(where the café is located) do not generally allow dogs inside. There are places to tie your hound up outside whilst you spend a penny, but personally I’m not happy doing such a thing. Not so great given the toilets to the east of the park are closed for refurbishment(at time of writing). The café should have its own toilets!
