I love the décor of this café, however I was left underwhelmed by the coffee and muffin I got. Peyton And Byrne certainly looks the part and the cakes all look amazing. I got the apple crumble muffin which I found a bit dry and bland. They did have other interesting flavour combinations that I would be tempted to try if I’m back this way. I thought the coffee was average, not nearly strong enough for me.

A relaxed café near the DLR station and the Cutty Sark, nice for stopping off en route to the Royal Observatory. Not the cheapest cakes and snacks, but very tasty. The Chelsea Bun was sticky, and the breakfast muffin had a nice texture and lots of hints of the courgette and carrot base, for more health conscious eaters! The porridge is generous and you can top it yourself to make something exactly as you’d like it.

A the cakes are somewhat of a scene in willy wonka land and the muffins huge and tasty. Quite a nice place to have morning tea and sweets although the service was a bit slow… still I would try them again as it is a quaint little joint that does what it says on the bottle.

Couple of weeks ago we went there with a group of friends for late breakfast on saturday. As the café is newly open and we wanted to give a try. When you look outside, you assume that that place seems great bakery and pastry product. On display counter, there were some vegetable stuff which you cannot be able to eat for breakfast even their taste was unbearably awful and sandwiches all made up with ham/pork. Nothing for vegans or vegetarians. Even they don’t have any type of croissant. Mushroom with goats cheese pie was the only thing you can find is ok. I ordered a tea as well. The tea comes with a very small teapot which was not enough for a cup. In total, we were very disappointed with that bakery. I shouldn’t have called bakery cos’ they even dont do basic bakery stuff.
