While Hubby and I are on vacation, we tend to pack A LOT into each day. Nothing was different about the day we went to this place.
We were up at 6am to get on a full day tour to Windsor, Bath, Stonehenge and a pub lunch. The tour ended around 8:45 and we took the tube back from Victoria to the Embankment. As we walked up Villers, we all wanted to stop for a bite. We used Unilocal to find a place and tried Players. Players looked like it was closed or something so we ended up at Pizzaioli.
The hostess/​waitress sat us right away at a fourtop. We all ordered a drink and some water. We each had a pizza of our own. We could have had 3 pizzas for 4 people, but we all were starving.
I had one with arugula on it. Boy did it hit the spot. I know I was hungry, but the crust was thin and chewy (a good thing) and crisp around the edges. The cheese wasn’t too thin or too thick.
And the best part was our friendly and helpful waitress. After a long day, she just made it so easy for us.
