As far as office lunches go, this is as good as it gets for those of us who dislike, you know, rat hair in our burgers and morbid obesity. It’s comparatively priced, offers cold and hot lunches, and it’s on the healthier side of things. Huge fan. Also, hello to all the bearded hipsters around. Buy me lunch next time.

It’s REALLY hard to find something that is not fried, charred, or full of cholesterol and saturated fats in London, it’s doubly hard to find fresh produce(sorry, i’m a spoiled California boy). This chain is my savior, and at a decent price. my modified tabbouleh salad with quinoa was delicious(minus the balsamic vinaigrette) and the green juice that shows you what’s in it before they blend it is a refreshing idea(essentially you pick the prepackaged greens in a cup and they blend it when you purchase it – perfect for people that want to check for blemishes or rot prior to blending). The Turkish salad I had was good but I would avoid the sweet and sour dressing they provide in the box – defeats the purpose of being healthy when you add sugar, ketchup and mystery oil to your salad).

Wow, I was happily surprised by the service and the food. The meals looked incredible and tasted even better. Also, the service was amazing our waitress was very friendly and always with us without intruding our privacy. I recommend the place to anyone who wants a nice lunch or just a cup of fresh coffee.

Yes, it is indeed as good as it gets. I mean — middle of the City, NOMICROWAVEFOOD and your lunch is still hot and under £8(including a drink)? I thought I was dreaming when I went there about two years ago — and yet the network of this hearty healthy delicious fast food lunches is still there and thank goodness — thriving! They ain’t gonna cook something that was brought over a million miles away — they go for local in their hot food counter! They change the ingredients in their hot food according to a season — so during the summer you’ll get something light, whereas Xmas season at Pod will give you something warm, hearty and fulfilling(without gaining you those extra pounds!) Do check out their salad range — it’s just a shame to miss out on! And a cherry on top — the service is very fast! Maximum I’ve ever waited was always under 4 minutes.

I found a new love! I love this place. Pretty much the same prices as a tesco crappy sandwich, and it’s healthy! Bonus! I love salads. So finally I can fit my fat arse into a pair of skinny jeans… and eat well! But what is better, is that it is guilt free food, and it’s yummy! Can’t think of something bad to say. It’s all good!

Fresh and organic, with a menu bursting with variety and flavour, Pod is a welcome break from the tired old fare at my workplace canteen for lunch. I have been here only a couple of times and both times, I got lured by the Thai green and red curry offerings so I am yet to check out the Soba dishes, Mexican flavours and what not. I am definitely a fan of their wild rice and expect to keep coming back here to taste their other preparations. The service is prompt and friendly and I like the loyalty stamps you can collect on repeated visits to redeem for a free dish. Prices are not low for a lunch that’s light-ish but I guess that’s the price one pays for the feel-good factor of healthy, green, organic, exotic superfoods…

they are also doing coffee for £1 at the moment, plus the coffee loyalty scheme is crazy — buy 4 get 1 free. EDIT — the £1 coffee is no more, but it is £1.85 for a regular coffee, plus it is still buy 4 get one free. And they open at 6:30, so I can get one on the way to work In place of the coffee offer there is a rotating lunch offer, with a chunky percentage(say 25%) off a different hot lunch each week.

Amazing little place to go for a healthy lunch in the City. Pod serves a range of delicious food, hot and cold, that changes with the seasons. There is a range of hearty soups that change each week day. There are delicious baguettes and toasties — I definitely recommend the portobello mushroom, spinach and halloumi toastie — amazing! They also do nori wraps(duck and chicken) plus superfood salads and hot foods including thai green curry. The prices are relatively cheap for the City(around £4−5 for a meal) and the portions are large enough to keep you comfortably full throughout the day.

Think a more eco-version of Pret with healthier, hardier, and slightly more exotic food options. The menu changes with the seasons… but right now you can find things like the«superfood salad» with edamame, broccoli, feta, and too many other ingredients to mention, or the halloumi, spinach and tomato toasted sandwich. They also sparked the«customize-your –own takeaway porridge» trend… with mix-ins like honey, cocoa nibs, and goji berries. Pod is brighter and a touch more organic-feeling than Pret. My major complaint with this branch, however, is that there is *no* decent place to sit down… Otherwise, the food is tasty… the packaging is compostable… and the ingredients are locally sourced — hurray!
