So I quite like this restaurant for a number of reasons! I try not to write too many bad reviews, which is why unless I have something nice to say, I usually just hold my peace, but I wish this place had more love on Unilocal.
Ambience — little Italy all the way. Family pictures on the wall. Red and white rustico décor. Total mom and pop, charming place to bring the family.
Location — not too far from Turnpike Lane or Crouch Hill station, but it’s right next to the Nightingale Lane bus stop near Birbeck Road in Hornsey.
Food — delicious. Authentic Italian. I had the Alfredo pasta and pizza with a couple glasses of the house red wine. It was excellent!
Service — amazing. Husband and wife duo. Not sure if they’re Italian but they definitely lived in Italy and are neighbours (Romania or somewhere) so they know what they are doing food wise. Very personable and they definitely know how to run a restaurant.
I’d definitely go back and recommend! Enjoy if you’re in the neighbourhood!

Had poor experience here when took my daughter there for her birthday felt pretty unwelcome. They don’t seem to like kids there even though we went at half six when it was virtually empty we were told it would have been better if we had turned up at four!
