Surprisingly tasty flavoured food! Ut was the first time I ate in a Tandoor and was a very good experience. Nice waitresses and very gold food, service and price!

Enjoyed a buffet lunch here and it was very good value. The menu is quite simple and limited but quite sufficient to give a reasonable choice and there can be no complaining about a three-course Indian meal with a soft drink for under ten pounds. The quality of the food was good and thee were plenty of salads and chutneys available, although the mango chutney, a personal favourite, was more of a purée than a chutney. I would definitely go back here and recommend it to others wanting a full Indian meal for lunch at a very reasonable price.

Unoffensive and decent value for the money. I came here for lunch since I was craving Indian food but wanted to eat cheaply. I came in on a Sunday at lunch and the place was absolutely empty. I was the only customer(awkward!) for about 10 minutes until another group of tourists also came in. The buffet had a really good selection of entrees, starters, salads, and condiments. Plenty of variety, though mostly non-veg. I tried most of the entrees and the standout was the chana(chickpeas). Everything else, especially the butter chicken, was very bland. I understand that buffets have to tone down the spice level but the butter chicken’s sauce was almost watery. Still, it didn’t taste bad per se. Just incredibly bland. That aside, they had every condiment you could want– all kinds of chutneys, pickles, and raitas. It seemed like they had a dessert or two but I didn’t look too closely or try them out. Overall, it was good value for the money– just 9 pounds at lunchtime, including a drink. If you’re in the area and looking for a cheap but satisfying meal, this is an option. If you want authentic or spicy food, definitely go elsewhere.

We went for lunch. They have a very nice buffet that is kept up with fresh entrees and appetizers. At lunch, there were about six different entrees at least one was vegetarian. There was a very nice salad bar, which was a welcome site. The price was 9 pounds and for some reason, we got a 20 percent discount. I don’t know why, but I wasn’t going to argue with them either.

Fairly central and close to one of the best(if not THE best) second hand book store in London. Wonderful location for me :) They have a great buffet with a Good choice of food. Indian buffets with Non veg food included aren’t cheap, but this was fairly reasonable I felt for all that was on offer — The naan and meal for dinner is 12 quid. The crowd was mixed(Indian & non-Indian) and that gives you a fair idea of the taste of the food as well. Not«authentic» and all that jazz — just good. The staff and friendly and I was well pleased with my bulging belly at the end.

Can’t believe I’m giving an Indian place 5 stars! Not a fan of Indian food, but this more mild take at this culinary sector actually got me really excited in more ways than one(wink implied). First of all, for about 8 pounds per person, you are getting all you can eat buffet WITH a half pint of beer for that flat rate! This is an amazing deal as they have several options and a great environment for hanging for a long time. I don’t handle spiciness well. Last time we had Indian food, I was practically carried out on a stretcher. This time, I was perfectly fine because the buffet options are not very spicy at all! That’s definitely a way to ease someone into the Indian genre, limit that fire-inside-the-mouth sorta sensation. I enjoyed several of their chicken options, rice, pita, and a few of their«cool» selections that are supposed to compliment the spiciness of the other foods. These items included vegetables and the like. There is one pasta item in this selection that I really enjoyed, at first look it appears almost like mac & cheese, but then looks like penne with corn and butter sauce. I never did figure out what I was eating, but I kept going back for more! It tastes a bit like a butter sauce with a hint of corn in it so I suppose I wasn’t too far off. And it’s served cold so it goes great with the chicken/main dishes. The head server/manager guy here is intensely soft spoken to the point where I don’t think I heard ONE word he spoke to me the entire time. This only became a problem when he failed to give us change for the bill(we were waiting for 11 quid in change, that’s nothing to shake a horse at). We prodded at him several times and he eventually got on the ball and got us our change. Overall the food here went way beyond my expectations and I will definitely be coming here for some lunch time unlimited grub to debilitate myself before class again!

All-you-can-eat buffet Indian buffet joint. Food was good, though not spectacular. Oddly, nearly empty on a Wednesday night when all the nearby restaurants were full. Despite this, had a good time.

Went here for dinner with my wife after walking through out central london.(thanks to the tube strike). Delish dinner buffet. Loved the popadoms and curries and rice pudding. Can’t wait to go back.(if I get a chance to go back to london that is.) Go CONTIKI.(which is right next to it by the way)

When I was a student at UCL we used to raid their lunch buffet on a regular basis. For 3 pounds you can get indian buffet takeaway. This means you can get as much as you can stuff into a rectangular tupperware(which is plenty of food for one person) and a poppadom. If you wanted to eat in their restaurant I believe its 4 pounds, but when the weather is nice it’s good to get Poppadom Express takeaway and eat in one of the park’s down the street. They have a rotation of a few dishes which provide options for vegetarian, meat, and seafood lovers. Personally I am a sucker for the lamb rogan josh which is there most of the time. They also have a cold buffet bar with salad and desserts, but with a single container we normally focus on the savoury stuff.
