As a gardener, hobby crafter, occasional eBay seller, and a student, this Poundland seldom fails to sway me into buying something. Visit first thing in spring for summer plants, and before Halloween for winter-planting bulbs. I get lots of gardening bits from here including seeds and shrubs and a lot of them have been as successful(if not more) than more expensive varieties. A gardener’s delight, they also have a selection of natural fertilisers such as chicken manure and fish, blood, and bone meal which is great for the roses. You should exercise caution later in the seasons as some of the shrubs and bulbs can be less viable after sitting in the shop front for a while. They have a decent selection of stationery of varying quality but I have found their ring binders, bulldog clips, and plastic snap-to-close document wallets amongst the best staple buys for my studies. Their range of postal bits and pieces is also extensive which is most useful for ebaying as although I recycle packets I tend to get through quite a bit of tape! It’s often busy but the queues tend to move swiftly enough. One of my favourite shops in Bow!
