This is much the same as all other Pret’s but the local is very good. The staff are friendly and the place look to be clean. There is some outstanding seating get which are great for watching the world go by.

It’s a Pret — so this is much like the rest of them — of which there are many. But this location is new, and thus is a bit cleaner, prettier, and fresher-seeming than others. There are plenty seats around the back if you need them, though I would avoid the lunchtime work rush. I like the décor in this branch compared to many others; again that«new» feeling is still there, which is good. Not sure about the layout, though. The queuing area seems a bit crammed and they’ve positioned the useful items(spoons, pepper, etc) off to the side, behind one of the queues, so you have to squeeze past everyone. Also, what’s with soup under a hot lamp? It is frequently too hot to hold whilst queueing, or too cold by the time I get to eat it. I prefer the old school way; where you tell someone what you’d like, and they pour it fresh from the big ol’ pot. As for Pret in general — well I think it is overpriced but I am a big fan of soup and a sandwich on a rainy day, so whilst the bad weather continues, I will be popping across the road from work to this Pret pretty regularly. I am big fan, it has to be said, of the«posh» cheddar and pickle baguette, and of the new BBQ pulled pork soup!
