The establishment is still good as always, with friendly staff(no matter that the lady in front of me was on the phone throughout the ordering and paying process, and also taking her time in paying), but the staff did not berate her and at all times maintained a good composure. I just wanted to mention that the Thai Crab soup I’ve had today was pretty bland and tasteless. I could definitely see root vegetables inside, but I could not see or taste any crab at all! Ah well, until the next time, hopefully I will get a better soup next time! The sunflower bread was tasty but was a bit hard by the time I ate it(around 2pm), had to dip it in the soup to make it edible!

My favourite lunch spot in SOHO! The shop is small, but not cramped. It’s super cute and charming inside. Large chalkboards display the daily soup options. I’ve been there a few times and have had their pumpkin chicken and their chickpea chili. Both are outstanding. I love that you can add toppings and their recommendations for toppings are always spot on. And you the homemade bread that comes with is great for dipping! I think for the price, you get huge portions. I never get hungry after eating a small bowl for lunch. Can’t wait to try all of their options!

Great soups and a fair price for Soho, nice flavour combinations and toppings, firmly on my lunch list. Oh and a slice of bread thrown in, happy days. *I don’t like the spoons though, too deep to eat from comfortably for me.

Large portions of tasty, filling soups served with wholesome breads(sunflower or sesame seed were the choices when I went). I don’t typically like tomato but had some of my sisters and it was really good, thicker than your usual tomato. Every soup can be topped with chives and cheese(included in the price) and some other toppings for an extra charge. I had the beef stroganoff which was very good, a bit weird with the pickles in it but they added a certain flavor and saltiness to the mix– make sure to top with the cream and chives made it even better. Fair, affordable prices, friendly, helpful staff — and yes you can try sample before you buy! Place is decorated like it’s in a wooded area which is interesting. Not a ton of seating, I’m sure it gets packed for lunch but for small groups coming in a bit earlier/later seating should be easy. Negatives: We came around 2 and they were out of half of the soups offered! But we still found things we liked!

I love soups and I really appreciate the quality. I’ve tried the one with chicken. It’s really equilibrate, I don’t like too much salt in my soups and I think it was just the perfect amount to taste the broth and the mixed vegetables. Perfect to take away. 4.5 stars to the food, 4 to the price, 4 for the position. I’ll definitely return to buy other soups.

Really really really nice soup. The bread is also nice. But the soup is very nice.

Great soups. But lately i’m growing disappointed with some of them. Their onion soup was boiled onions in broth, their lentil soup was lentils and carrots boiled together with no flavoring… i am dropping a star from my original 4.

I absolutely don’t recommend this place! I had the chickpea chorizo, it did not taste at all and it got worse. Later I had massive stomach pain! It wasn’t getting any better. It probably wasn’t fresh(some days older). Don’t go there!

Amazing soups that reminded me of my childhood in Europe, it’s tasty and full of memories. The staff are really friendly, outgoing and professional. The place surprises you buy its natural decoration, it’s cozy and makes you feel like home. To finish, their packaging is convenient, stylish and trendy. Definitely a place to stop by to try their amazing soups!

Love this spot. I’ve passed this place a few times since it opened last month, and decided to try it out for lunch at long last. Soupe du Jour only offers soups(as the name may suggest) as well as delicious bread and some tasty looking savory muffins. They also seem to offer some sides like meatballs and others to accompany the soups, but I haven’t dabbled here yet. The menu features«Our Favorites» which seem to be available every day, «Your Favorites» which seem to be available for that month only, and a «Soupe du Jour.» The soups are all gourmet and made with the freshest ingredients. I tried the pea stew, which was the soup of the day, and couldn’t have been happier. The primary ingredients are peas, celery, mint and the soup is garnished with apples. Fancy that! The staff are also very friendly. They let me try multiple soups and helped me make an informed(and very important) decision. Will definitely be visiting Soupe du Jour again soon and planning to work my way through their menu!
