If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to all. So what makes this different? Previously the pub Spinnaker was here but unfortunately the pub left us and the prime space gave birth to another chain — Pret A Manger. This Pret is a lot bigger than most I have been to and if you’re lucky you will be able to get a seat at the back where the water/quay is, which overlooks the Pan Peninsula and Tompkins. A little tranquility in the bustling Harbour Exchange. This store is haven for most office workers but for me it’s another Pret that sells good food and beverages that never change.

4 Stars for a lovely grand opening. They were handing out free lunches(meat, veggie and fish options) with TWO drinks — one hot, one cold. I like it. Smiling, welcoming staff. Service was friendly and they were keen to show off the place. I work nearby so, I knew they’d have a nice view but didn’t realise just how spacious it was in there. I don’t normally do Pret because they are all overpriced but I’m glad I stopped in to see all the fuss. Table layout is good and of course, it’s new so it’s spanking clean. Hope you can keep the 4 stars!

It’s yet another Pret — what is there really to say? Nestled inside the South Quay Plaza, it is positioned at the base of an office building occupied by a very youthfully staffed media agency. Come for the food stay for the view?
