Better than most airport coffee chains. Pretty good selection of freshly made salads, sandwiches and pastries and the coffee was pretty decent. Reasonably priced considering its an airport. Charge you extra for eating in same as costa which bugs me. Its a small enough area and given people with cases its hard to get a seat.

PRET: only good if you are at an airport. So, this one fits the bill at my beloved LCY. Here’s the thing, the first time you try Pret you are all like«wow, this shit is excellent! Where have you been all my life!?» And then you eat that crab pot or some duck hoisin wrap approximately 342x after that and the honeymoon is over, it’s not that good. Also, I’m sorry — their coffee is THEWORST. Like drinking stale cigarette water, no joke. It’s totally fine for food and sparkling water and stuff like that. At an airport. This particular one is BEFORE security at LCY(if you are departing) — and it’s a good bet to grab some(non liquid) snacks before heading in because the options inside are pretty lacking(Panopolis I shake my head at you feverishly). Also, if you are landing it’s the first thing you see as you exit customs(well, that and 52 private drivers with dry erase boards). It’s fine for that, too if you need a quick bite before braving the commute home. It is not fine when there are any other options like in a real city. At an airport, Ok. Trust me guys, it’s the truth. There are better places to eat, but not usually at an airport — so 3 stars.

I love Pret, the concept is fresh, tasty, healthy and convenient; and the one in the London City Airport for the ease of location really hits the spot. I don’t worry about needing to buy food for the flight home or my dinner for my late arrival into LCY because thanks to Pret! I like the little snack portions of protein egg with spinach, or a larger, healthy choice of tuna/crayfish salad; but my absolute favorite of why I come here is for the delicious Hoisin Duck Wrap. it is to die for if you are a duck fan, and even if you sort of like duck(which is me), this wrap is delicious because it’s so flavorful it makes you think about it before you are even hungry! Well done to Pret for this LCY location — never leave!

These are everywhere in London. It’s nothing special but the food are freshly made. I see some in nyc also. I guess they are more for the regular office workers looking for a quick healthy lunch but it’s not like it’s super cheap. But it’s fairly priced.

Although it is a bit on the pricey side for take away sandwiches, Pret does great coffee and the atmosphere inside is always nice for an on-the-go kind of place. The food is always really fresh, and there’s a big range on offer– from hot soup to sushi. The service is not the most friendly, but this is understandable as at lunchtimes it can get packed and the staff must get kind of swamped, but Pret is a reliable place to go for lunch on the go.

In the landside of London City Airport, this Pret is perfect for the air traveler who has to wait out a delayed flight or is just looking for a healthy sandwich and snack to take along for the trip. It’s a proper Pret, with tables and chairs as well as the usual coolers full of delish sandwiches and salads plus chips and popcorn and yummy Pret bars. I picked up a crunchy felafel sandwich that was quite a treat at 25.000 feet. Yummy felafel and garbanzo beans and chopped carrot and cilantro and a very seeded thick sliced bread. Heavenly. I know my seatmate was jealous. Of course, don’t waste your time getting a drink if you’re about to go through security. It might be «Pret» coffee, but you still can’t take it with you.
