Queens Hotel

So where do I even start? First of all it was false advertising. The booking website showed a modern clean hotel room with fresh interior. Imagine the exact opposite… the rooms were dirty, floor and walls damaged, the bed looked like the sheets was not changed after the last guests. We had 3 (yes 3!!) Rat-​traps in our room? That’s always reassuring… There was shared bathroom. On our floor we had 2 choices, one without a lock and one with no light. There was a cockroach on the floor in the reception. Speaking of, the first thing that happened was that we walked into the manager being loud and rude to another customer. Dont even get me started on the «dining room» in the basement. The staff was plain rude; we asked if we could have some extra toast the answer was «no its busy right now besides its only 1 per person anyway». I went out for a cigarette and when I got back inside to proceed up the stairs the receptionist called out to me and proceeded to question me if I lived there or not… the whole experience was just awful. I’ve stayed in hotels around London in the same price range where the standard and service was far far better. Regarding the review below… I don’t think we stayed at the same hotel.
