Certainly radiant in energy and creativity and dangerously suggestive, Radiant Vermin packs a punch and a half. How could you make a clever joke out of London’s property crisis you wonder? Well, by introducing a whole other devilish crisis! Witty satire, delivered with impeccable timing and zest, this play brings to life matters that should really stay dead. With just a cast of 3 storytellers, it is quite unfathomable the extent to which they can tell a riveting and thoroughly entertaining tale. Needless to say that these actors(Sean Michael Verey, Gemma Whelan and Amanda Daniels) put forward outstanding performances with incredible stamina. Never before have I seen the delicate balance of warm relatable characters conducting unspeakable crimes being portrayed so perfectly. I cannot give away too much of what the play entails for fear of spoiling your experience of discovering it all out. Let’s just say expect the unexpected and prepare to be amazed; despite the limited cast and lack of props or staging this play is totally watchable, utterly engaging and successfully disturbing!
